Ausport Coming to NBC – Sunday 28 August

This day is OUR first Junior Come & Try Day, which is also the start of junior training for all age groups and programs.

Ausport are bringing their mobile showroom and setting up a pop-up shop for all your baseball equipment needs, including white pants.

They will be at NBC on Sunday 28 August from 8:30am and will remain for several hours so all juniors and seniors can access any equipment you might need.

A reminder our helmet colour is Navy Blue across all age groups and teams.

David Gregurke - Awarded Life Membership

Last night the 2022 Rams AGM was held and we are very proud to announce that David Gregurke was announced as our newest Life Member. From the minute Gerks arrived at NBC over 20 years ago he has been involved in some way from junior coaching, committee roles, merchandise development and social media & website management. So much of what Gerks done is unknown by many but he is a driving force behind many things you see from uniform design to signage around the club.

Thanks Gerks, a very well deserved honour. Gerks will be presented his George Williams medal at Heritage Day once our summer season gets rolling, keep an eye out for dates.

In other AGM news it was a great turnout to review the past 12 months and look forward to what lay ahead. With an unchanged Committee as well as having Sean Arnott continuing as Club Coach and Dean Anglin continuing as Women’s Head Coach, we are poised with great stability and continuity for the next 12 months and beyond.

Lots of exciting things coming up for the Rams including good progress on our 2 new digital scoreboards and other planned upgrades. Keep an eye out for senior preseason dates and junior Come & Try days in late August.

It’s a great time to be a Ram.

Congratulations to Andy Land, Lachlan Schumann & Ben Howard who are off to Queensland to represent the Vic U16 team. Good Luck to boys. Check out BV FB for steaming details. ❤️🐏⚾️
