Centreboard Sailing at RPA

Dinghy Racing, Sail Training and Regattas on Pittwater organised by the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, Newport Come and join us!

RPAYC runs dinghy racing on beautiful Pittwater all year round, including most summer Sundays. Popular classes sailed include International Optimist, Manly Junior, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, Full Rig, Flying Ants, Finns, Waszp, RS Aeros, Multihulls and International 29er. Sail Training introduces budding young sailors to the sport via the very successful Tackers program.

IT'S RACE TIME!
Pantaenius Pittwater Regatta commences Friday with race 1 of the NSW ORC Championship supported by Sydney Marine Brokerage. Friday's race will be a long offshore passage race starting from 1155hrs. Two divisions in the NSW ORC Championship followed by the Offshore Invitational race.

Halyards open for breakfast from 0800, ORC race briefing at 0930.

Welcome Event and Pittwater Cup & Super 40 – Regatta Briefing, 530pm
- Welcome Party & DJ 5pm – 800pm

Calling all competitors, family and friends. Tonight at the RPA is a special event on how you can volunteer at the Club. You don't have to be a member to volunteer and there is always a task that needs doing. No experience is necessary just a willingness to learn and give it a go.

The club has a number of big events planned for the season plus regular weekly racing that needs your help.

Round 2 of ZHIK Centreboard Spring Pointscore Series coming your way! Sunday, 15 October - first race signal at 1330hrs. Race briefing at 1215hrs. Casual entries accepted until 1000hrs each race day.

With 42 entrants now comprising the racing fleet, there will be plenty of competition this weekend in Centreboard at RPAYC.
