What a fantastic start to the day for our NR swimmers and families!
This morning we hosted our Swim Strong: Nutrition Matters session, where we were fortunate to welcome the fabulous Ali Miles, Advanced Sports Dietitian. Ali shared invaluable insights with both our swimmers and parents about the vital role nutrition plays in supporting performance, recovery and overall wellbeing.
Ali’s presentation was engaging, practical and packed with advice that our athletes can put into action straight away. It was a wonderful opportunity for our swimming community to learn together and continue building healthy habits both in and out of the pool.
A huge thank you to our Treasurer, Gaby, for leading this fantastic initiative and making the morning possible. We also extend our appreciation to our amazing breakfast volunteers, who treated our swimmers to a delicious breakfast after training—and we’re pleased to report that Ali approved!
Thank you to everyone who joined us. Together, we’re helping our swimmers build strong bodies, healthy minds and lifelong habits for success.
