🌆 A Night in Havana — Last call for online tickets! 🌆

Our fundraising party for A Night in Havana is almost here, and this is your last chance to grab tickets online before the big night!

We're dancing for a great cause, supporting Jaime Canavan in her fundraising goal for the Cancer Council.

📅 Saturday 19 September, 6:30pm
📍 The Hamilton Hive, 152 Beaumont Street, Hamilton

🎟️ Tickets are $20, or $45 which includes a build-your-own rice bowl by Little Castro Catering and a mocktail. We'd recommend grabbing the food option along with your ticket now so you don't miss out, it'll also be available on the night, but online is the safer bet.

🍹 BYO alcohol

🎶 Kicking off with a live Latin set from Moon Over Water at 6:30pm, then DJ Christian Chavez will keep us dancing the rest of the night.

Dance the night away! 🌴💃

On Saturday 19 September, Dance On Newy is helping Jaime Canavan host A Night in Havana — a salsa party fundraiser in true Dance On Newy style.

It's all in support of Stars of Newcastle, raising funds for Cancer Council's research and patient support work. Every ticket helps Jaime reach her fundraising goal.

🎟️ $15 dancing only (early bird until Friday 11 September), $20 after that, or $40 for tapas + a mocktail (food bookings close Friday 11 September too)

Our friend Carlos Allendeis running an Afro-Latin Percussion Workshop at Swansea Music Studio. Whether you're a dancer or simply love Latin music, understanding the rhythms behind the music will deepen your connection to dance and help you hear what the musicians are playing.

No matter your experience level, this is a fun and unique chance to immerse yourself in Afro-Latin percussion and experience the heartbeat of the music we dance to.
