Regulating the nervous system and fight or flight is priority at Rocket Kids Sports.

This includes transitioning to the ride home afterwards. Sugar free ice blocks are perfect!

We know how difficult it can be for our kids to regulate on the ride home.

We also use verbal and non verbal cues throughout our programs 🙂

Today is a reminder that sometimes, the simplest question can mean so much.

“Are you okay?”

For our kids, being able to say “I’m not okay” can be hard. Sometimes it comes out as big emotions, shutting down, avoiding, or simply needing a little more support.

And this applies to the grown-ups too. ❤️

Check in with your children.
Check in with your friends.
Check in with yourself.

Sometimes you don’t need to fix anything.
Sometimes you just need to listen, understand and let someone know they’re not alone.

LET'S SHINE FOR HARRIET

Harriet is a beautiful little girl who has already faced more challenges than most people experience in a lifetime. Despite everything she has been through, she continues to smile, inspire and show incredible strength every single day.

This fundraiser has been created to help support Harriet and her family as they continue their journey through ongoing medical treatment and future surgeries. Every dollar raised will help ease some of the financial pressure and allow the family to focus on what matters most—Harriet’s health and recovery.

Bring your family, your friends, your picnic blankets and your community spirit for an afternoon and evening filled with fun, laughter and kindness. Together, we can make a real difference while creating wonderful memories for everyone.
