🌧️ROUND 11 UPDATE FRIDAY & SATURDAY GAMES POSTPONED 🌧️

After assessing the grounds this afternoon, we've made the difficult decision to postpone all Friday night and Saturday games at Kurraka.

Unfortunately, the fields are simply too waterlogged to safely host football this weekend.

We're just as disappointed as everyone else. We were hoping to get games underway, but the weather has had other plans.

Our committee will reassess the grounds tomorrow and make a decision regarding Sunday's fixtures. We'll provide another update as soon as we've completed that assessment.

There's been a fair bit of rain around the glorious suburbs of Maryland and Fletcher this week 🌧️

Our fields were closed by Council this morning. At this stage, no decision has been made regarding this weekend's games at Kurraka.

Our committee will inspect the grounds again this afternoon before making a decision.

We'll provide an update as soon as we've completed our assessment. If you haven't seen a post from us, it simply means we're still monitoring conditions and haven't made a decision yet.

Maryland Fletcher FC is exploring the opportunity to enter a team into the Women's Zone League (ZFLW) competition in 2027.

We are seeking expressions of interest from players aged 16 and above, who would be interested in trialling for, and playing, in a Zone League team.

Establishing a ZFLW team would provide a clear pathway for our junior female players to progress and compete at a higher level while strengthening the club's women's football program.

This survey will help us gauge player interest and determine whether the club has sufficient support to submit a successful application to join the competition in 2027.

We encourage all interested players to complete the survey and help shape the future of women's football at Maryland Fletcher FC.

Our Trivia Night was a huge success, filled with plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and an amazing community spirit. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we were able to raise valuable funds that will go straight back into supporting our club and community.
