A little bit proud of this one 🥹🏃‍♀️

Lake Mac Run done! 10.5km race… although Strava says I actually ran 10.8km 😂

I went on my own, had no idea what to expect and just decided to see what I could do.

And I DID IT. ❤️

I had one goal going into today…get under 60 minutes for 10km…and I bloody did it! ⏱️🙌 First EVER SUB 60!

I’m still relatively new to these longer distances, so every time I tick off another milestone it feels pretty damn good.

And honestly… I’m really proud of myself. 🥹❤️

Next stop… Fernleigh 15km. 👀😂

A little snippet from one of my DanceFit routines! 🥁❤️

It looks like we’re just having a bit of fun with the drumsticks but this one is actually a sneaky little circuit!

👣 Toe taps
🪑 Chair squats
⭐ Chair stars
🥁 Chair drumming

A mix of cardio, strength, coordination, balance and rhythm — all set to music.

Mix it to your favourite song and do as many rounds as you like! 🎶🥁

R U OK? ❤️

I’ve had some really difficult periods in my life, including postpartum depression after having Isla.

She was a very unsettled and unwell baby with severe eczema, colic, reflux, kidney and allergy issues, and barely slept. As a new mum, it was a lot.

I’ve also experienced two significant periods of burnout.

Those experiences taught me something important about myself:

When I’m struggling, grieving or overwhelmed, I withdraw.

I need quiet.
I need space.
I need time to breathe.

And I’ve lost friendships because of that.

Not because I didn’t care. Not because I didn’t love people. But because I couldn’t keep showing up at the same capacity.

Sometimes we expect people who are struggling to behave in a way that makes us comfortable. We want them to talk, accept help and keep showing up.

But sometimes the most supportive thing you can say is:

“I’m here. You don’t have to reply. Take the time you need.”

That would have meant so much to me.

But I’m here talking about it today. ❤️

I’m also in a really happy and content phase of my life now, and I’m incredibly grateful for that.

I can look back and understand that withdrawing wasn’t me not caring. It was how I coped when I had nothing left to give.

And I found my way back to myself.

Fitness has also been a huge part of that journey. I’ve seen how much movement and gym communities can offer — routine, connection, laughter, purpose and a reason to get out the door.

But exercise isn’t the answer to everything.

Sometimes you need to train.
Sometimes you need to walk.
Sometimes you need to sleep.
Sometimes you just need to step away for a while.

Needing space doesn’t mean you don’t need people.

Sometimes knowing “I’m here when you need me” is enough.

So this R U OK? Day, check in with your people.

And if someone tells you they need space, believe them.

You don’t have to fix them or demand that they be okay.

Sometimes loving someone means giving them room to breathe.

Their quiet season isn’t necessarily their forever.

Sometimes, when they’re ready, they’ll find their way back.

I officially passed my Reformer Pilates course! 🥹🤍

So much learning, practising, filming, questioning myself and wondering if I was actually going to get there 😂

But I did it! 💪🏼

Another achievement to add to the list, and I’m so proud of myself for sticking with it.

Now… time to put it all into practice!

This is a little 2.5 minute low-impact aerobic warm-up I use in most of my 65+ classes…and honestly, the old-school moves are still some of my favourites! 👏

Grapevines, leg curls, side steps and plenty of movement to get the body warmed up and the heart rate gently elevated.

No equipment.
No complicated choreography.

Just simple movements that get you moving, feeling good and ready for the rest of the class. 🥰

And the best part? You can do this one at home too!

Save it for the next time you need a quick, low-impact walking workout. ❤️

Jimmy and I ran our furthest today! 🏃‍♀️🐶❤️

13km through the trails and on the road on a beautiful Sunday morning! And I finished feeling GOOD! 🙌🏼

Our 15km goal is now in sight! 👀💪🏼 1km at a time!

Now to put the feet up and enjoy Father’s Day with my Dad and Chris. ❤️

🌟 Congratulations Jenny on being our Soldier of the Month! 🌟

You truly shine like an angel in class! ✨ Your smile and energy lift the whole room as soon as you walk through the door. You are so encouraging, warm and kind…with just the right amount of cheek! 😂❤️

Not only are you an absolutely amazing person, but you’ve also faced your own health struggles with such strength, resilience and grace. I’m so incredibly happy to see you back, thriving and flourishing in class!

You are such a beautiful part of our community, Jenny, and so deserving of this recognition. Keep shining! 🌟💪

A game we play at the resort that is WAY harder than it sounds 😂

Throw the ball to someone and name a girl’s name from A–L and a boy’s name from M–Z.

Sounds easy, right?

Until the ball is coming at you, everyone is calling out different names, and suddenly you can’t think of a single name 🤣

It gets competitive VERY quickly! 🎾😂 Benefits include:

* 🧠 Memory & recall – remembering names and retrieving them quickly
* ⚡ Mental agility – thinking and responding under pressure
* 👀 Hand-eye coordination – tracking and catching the ball
* 🎯 Concentration – listening, watching and staying engaged
* 🤝 Social connection – interaction, laughter and teamwork
* 🗣️ Communication – speaking clearly and responding to others
* 😊 Mood & confidence – fun, laughter and a sense of achievement
* 🪑 Gentle movement – can be played seated or standing, depending on ability
