Update, with Blowering Dam slowly filling up from 19%, now at 43% we hope to be back running around November, allow time for the water level to increase after the snow season ends and starts to warm up. During our time in the UK at the Bluebird Festival at Coniston, we managed to get some great contacts and interest to get our final wind tunnel & CFD testing done, with the practical feedback of our most recent tests. Which we are now following up. its proven difficult to get this testing done with the boat now running at 280mph, ( liability tends to the issue )

At 17:00 on Saturday 16th May 2026, Bluebird K7 returned home - approx 59 years, 4 months, 12 days, and 9 hours since she left. Welcome home Bluebird K7 to Pier Cottage , David Warby with Mr Whoppit on board given the honour of parking K7 and climbing out on to the Pier. With Jordan Aspin with the water safety team. Gina Campbell Brian Eastham , as well as Fay from Pier Cottage . A genuine goosebumps emotional moment for all.
