⚠️ MASTER OF THE MAJORS – ROUND 4 POSTPONED ⚠️

Due to the rainfall and current course conditions, Round 4 of the Master of the Majors has been postponed this Saturday.

The safety of our members and the condition of the golf course remain our priority, and this decision has been made to ensure the event can be played in the best possible conditions.

📅 A new date will be announced soon.

🕓 Saturday's timesheet will reopen today at 4:00pm for players to rebook. The timesheet is now a normal two-tee start instead of the previously scheduled shotgun starts & will be a normal stableford event.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and patience and will provide further updates as soon as they're available.

🚧 UPCOMING INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS 🚧

As part of the exciting redevelopment of The Merewether, we'll soon be commencing two important infrastructure projects that will help pave the way for our new clubhouse and improved facilities.

Over the coming months you'll notice works taking place in selected areas of the golf course and temporary car park. We'll be doing everything possible to minimise disruption, with the course remaining open throughout the project.

What to expect:
⛳ Stormwater works will temporarily affect the 4th, 18th and 11th holes, with only one hole impacted at a time. Each hole is expected to be affected for approximately 2–3 weeks and may be temporarily shortened to ensure safe play.
🚧 Sewer connection works will temporarily affect part of the 1st hole and a small section of the temporary car park for approximately 3–4 weeks.
✅ Safe access to the course, clubhouse and remaining parking will be maintained.
🏌️ Play will continue as normal wherever possible.

The works include:
💧 Installation of new stormwater infrastructure.
🏗️ Construction of the new sewer connection for the future clubhouse.

These are important steps in our redevelopment and another step towards delivering a modern clubhouse and enhanced facilities for our members and visitors.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while these essential works are completed. We'll continue to keep everyone updated as each stage gets underway.
