What a ride this has become.
Next Sunday afternoon, the Newcastle Knights will play in a Preliminary Final for the first time since 2013.
It’s been a long time between drinks for this club and its supporters, and after all the ups and downs over the years, the Knights are now just 80 minutes away from a Grand Final.
The Penrith Panthers stand in their way.
It doesn’t get much bigger, or much tougher, than that.
But something about this Knights side feels pretty special right now.
They’ve given Newcastle and the Hunter something to get behind, and you can already imagine what this place is going to be like over the next seven days.
