For our TAMIYA（タミヤ）Fans - The iconic Big Wig, originally released in 1986 and re-released in 2017 - the re-re Big Wig that My brother was building with my nephew in 2017, was never finished, now time has passed them both and they've never got back together to finish this childhood RC project, so I've decided to complete this project for both of them - still has the driver figure to do! Happy RC motoring this school holiday 😃.

Check out this RC blast from the past! 🏁David John Divadson has brought in this RC classic last week —an original, vintage TeamLosi Mini-T 1.0! Released back in the early 2000s, this 1/18-scale stadium truck completely changed the mini RC game by shrinking down the legendary # # #-T platform. It is in "Ghetto RC Test mode" at present but looks good for a RC restoration project. Happy Vintage RC motoring 🤓.

Awesome Fun night of Racing last night at Lap addict RC - for one of our biggest turnout so far - 11 drivers have raced with us and experienced the Magic of RC racing 😃. Highlight of the Race night includes our 1st time racer Blake Cooper running his brand new Yellow Microbe, winning all 3 Amain races for the Stock class overall win, brilliant driver - took him to the pit for only one simple pit trick to remove front wheel binding and took the win over David Johnson (2nd) and Jay Wells (3rd). I had some Fun but brutal battle with Jason Brown running his solid "gold pan" Team Associated RC10Model24 and we had lots of fun battling all night in Bmain MoD, running with Brown and Nogood who was actually driving really good. Goldsbrough is back in form with his win of A main MoD class, had an impressive 40 Laps run in A1 main together with Rèyndél also did a 40 laps run - setting the race pace for the night! Pop in this School Holiday and try RC racing. Happy RC motoring 🤓.

All the Very Best for all our drivers from Newcastle On Road R/C Car Club competing at PDNR - Penrith District Nitro Racing Inc.'s Winter Champs this weekend !!

This weekend we have one of the biggest and best events on the calendar taking place: PDNR - Penrith District Nitro Racing Inc.'s Winter Champs. It's always a brilliantly run event and this year looks like one of the best.

There should be plenty of coverage provided across the weekend which we'll be sure to share. We have a strong team of Newcastle club racers heading down the M1 for a shot at some silverware.

On Saturday we'll have Lilly in EP Junior, Leon & Brendhan in FWD TCR, Wade & John in Sportsman 21.5, Phil, Luke & Brendhan in Stock 13.5 and Simon in Modified.

On Sunday we have Leon, Brendhan & James in 1/12th scale, Luke, Ross & Iain in F1, Ross & John in 1/8th GTE, Luke & Brendhan in VTA, Phil & John in 1/10th Nitro Tourer, Ross in 1/8th GT and Wade will be having a crack at the Losi sprint cars.

Race Day TODAY at Lap Addict RC - for our traditional "Thursday Night Racing" 6-9PM, open practice all day prior to racing during Rc Race Control shop open hours from 9AM! Good Time to try RC racing this School Holiday - Track/Race Fee $15 per class for BYO cars. Rental car is available on site - $25 for racing (inclusive of track fee and 1 car rental for the race night !!). Pop in and experience the Magic of RC racing!!
