We’re now accepting applications for our 2027 Falcons Head Coach positions, along with Expressions of Interest for all Team Coach positions.

Whether you’re a returning Falcons coach or looking to join our representative program for the first time, we’d love to hear from you.

Being a Falcons coach is about more than just basketball. It’s about mentoring young athletes, creating positive experiences, and contributing to a coaching community that is committed to growth and excellence.

We're asking our amazing Newcastle Basketball community to help support this organisation by donating an item from the Ronald McDonald House Newcastle wishlist.

Donations can be dropped off at the stadium during Sunday's NBL1 games - Women: 1pm & Men: 3pm.

Every donation will help provide comfort and support to families with seriously ill or injured children when they need it most.

First Nations Holiday Camp next Tuesday 7th July !

The camp is aimed at kids aged 6 – 15 who identify as First Nations people. It can be for kids who want to give basketball a try or kids who have shown interest. Any skill level, we welcome you to join the camp.

2026 METRO & COUNTRY U13 & U14 TAP SELECTIONS

Over the past few months, Basketball NSW held its Talented Athlete Program (TAP) trials for NSW Country & Metropolitan athletes across 14 regions throughout the state.

With the program continuing to grow in popularity each year, this year again saw a wonderful turnout with over 1000 athletes attending our trials.

A big thank you to our 152 network coaches who came to assist in running the trials for our emerging athletes. We are excited about the depth and talent that were in attendance.

Congratulations to the athletes who have been selected to attend the TAP Camps in August at Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre.
