Last Thursday I had the pleasure of sharing a short 20-minute 6-Minute Wellness Reset session with the Redlands KBN networking group.

We explored the science behind why regular reset breaks matter for stress, focus, energy, and productivity — especially in desk-based work environments.

The session combined practical education with a few simple desk-friendly techniques to help reduce physical tension, calm the nervous system, and refresh mental clarity in just a few minutes.

We also talked about becoming more aware of the early signals the body sends throughout the workday — before stress, fatigue, and tension build into longer-term issues.

One of my favourite parts of this work is helping people realise that workplace wellness doesn’t have to mean hour-long classes or major lifestyle changes. Small resets throughout the day can make a meaningful difference to how we think, feel, and perform.

Participants left with at least three practical techniques they could immediately use at their desks.

Thank you to Justo for hosting such a welcoming session, and to the KBN Redlands group for being so engaged and open to the experience. It was also great to reconnect with Daddow and hear Ford share an insightful overview of the recent Budget changes.
