Landsmeer 107 Motorsport

At Collie Motorplex for round 4 of our State Championship. Cool morning and very nice day with a cool breeze. The car is great and rides the curbs with ease. Today we are sharing the grid with Production Cars so qualified 5th on the road 4th Improved Production and 1st Under 2 Litre. After a shocking start in race 1 I dropped back behind another Toyota 86 that has joined this class. I managed to overtake into the last corner on the first lap and slowly pulled away chasing a VW Golf Turbo and managed a new best lap time 1.18.98 and finished 5th on the road. We have just finished race 2 and apart from my overtake being in a different spot and a lap later the remainder of the race was very similar. We have 1 race left today and will be back for found 5 tomorrow. Thanks to all the companies that support my passion.

Back at Wanneroo Raceway for round 3 of the state championship. Have plenty of fun playing with car set up to get more speed from the car. We feel like we have finally freed it up enough to get to the lap times we want. Great to have another Toyota 86 in the field today to keep us honest. Race 1 we were mixed with Production cars, and I was following a Renault and a BMW closely out of turn one and the Renault missed a gear so I had to turn hard left and then right. Just made the concrete wall with the LH mirror. Selected 1st gear and rejoined the track. Race 2 and 3 to come. Neil Landsmeer on the spinning the spanners like always.
