SJS Moto and AJS Moto Trials Club are super excited to announce the inclusion of the first SJS Moto SCOTT TRIAL into the 2026 calendar (after weather cancellation last year)

And the really good news is the event will be held at the River Ranch (formerly Talyor's property) at Bullsbrook 🎉👌👍

The new owners have kindly granted permission to the Club to host trials at the property again, great work thanks to Ian Coates 👏👏👏

The new Scott Trial event will be held on Sunday 26th July 2026

The SJS Moto Scott Trial will be based on the iconic Scott Trial held in the UK each October. The event will be a timed and observation format. Riders lose marks for putting a foot down or "footing" in Sections and for time difference for finishing behind the fastest rider. The event will be a series of Sections over a loop course. Similar to the Scottish, Scott sections are located primarily along creek lines.

Full details of the event format will be released shortly when entries open.

Like the SJS Scottish, the SJS Scott event will be an Interclub event and cater for riders riding White plate and above (no Novice or Black plate)

Many thanks go to all riders, officials, volunteers, course setters and specially the ever eagle eyed Observers. 👌👏

What a fantastic trial today. Great Sections. Great property.
First of all I want to thank all the usual contenders. The Officals, the Volunteer Observers, the Toilet hauler, the Solo Section setter and the Land owner.

I also acknowledge that with the absence of some committee members today, the organisational wheels did fall off a bit today.

I think more than anything that is a testament to just how much of the load some people (or one person, Garry Connell) are carrying in bringing these events to you. So I thank you all for your patience in bearing with us today. But also encourage others to step up to the plate a bit and think about joining the AJS committee.

And finally, in addition to the thanks already offered to all the helpers, I would like to call out Sean Austin, for helping me navigate some of the administrative issues that arose the past few days, and Dave Wright for hauling all the AJS gear to and from the event (even when he was only expecting to do the to part)
