🏊‍♀️ Are you wondering what exactly is swim club? ⭐️

With Northern Stars Swim Club – Nebo getting underway, we thought we’d answer a few questions you might have!

And first things first… swim club isn’t just for kids! 🙌

Whether you’re a little swimmer, teenager, parent, grandparent or somewhere in between — age doesn’t matter! There’s no age limit on learning, improving, getting fitter or simply enjoying being in the water. 💦

Swim club isn’t about being the fastest, winning every race or being an elite athlete. It’s about learning, practising, improving and having fun along the way.

We’ll work alongside the pool’s Learn to Swim and Squad programs, helping swimmers take the skills they’ve learnt and bring them into swim club — perfecting technique, practising skills, building fitness and confidence, and continuing to progress. If by choice, joining a race is of interest, there is that option also.

🌟 But one of the best parts?

Your Northern Stars Swim Club membership doesn’t just connect you with Nebo. Members can also access sessions at other Northern Stars pools and clubs!

That means when Nebo Pool closes for winter, your swimming doesn’t have to stop. 🏊‍♂️❄️ You can continue training, swimming and being part of the club community at other Northern Stars locations.

Whether you want to race, improve your swimming, get active, challenge yourself or simply be part of something local — there’s a place for you.

Kids. Teens. Parents. Adults. Everyone.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build on what we already have here at our local pool, while creating more opportunities and pathways for our swimmers.

And don’t worry — our current Learn to Swim, Squad & School Swimming programs & AquaFit will continue right here at Nebo Pool, working alongside the new swim club branch. 💙

From little swimmers learning their first skills, to those wanting to develop their technique and take their swimming further, we’re looking forward to creating something really special for our community.

Grab your picnic blanket, some snacks and drinks, bring the family and come down for a swim, soak up the sunshine and have a yarn. 💦🌞

If you feel like bringing something to share, even better!

We’re excited to announce that Aqua Fitness will be moving to Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30pm–6:30pm! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

The pool has had a full repaint inside and out and is looking fresh! Since refilling, we’ve been keeping a close eye on the water and chemicals to make sure it’s perfect for swimming. 💙

🎉 Opening Monday 7th September at 2:30pm!

Hours Until 21st September:
Mon–Fri: 2:30–5:30pm
Sat–Sun: 1:00–5:30pm
🚫 Closed Saturday 19th September for the 6 Ducks and a Yarn Cricket Fundraiser for Mental Health.

Hours from 21st September 2026 ☀️ School Holidays:
Daily 1:00–5:30pm until 5th October.
🚫 Closed Monday 5th October.
