The District Association Contribution to Scoring award nominees must demonstrate the achievements of the District Association in respect to scoring over the previous 12-month period, as well as demonstrate how the District Association presents a positive public image of scoring and the role of the scorer within their District Association and SQI.

The Rookie Scorer of the Year nominees must consistently demonstrate a good level of scoring skill, present a positive public image, and strive to improve themself in their scoring development.

The District Association Contribution Award is for DA’s nominated through their District Playing or Umpiring Association or committee. This award is representative of how the DA has raised or improved the umpiring profile in their association, the performance of their umpiring at state championships, shown that they support and develop their umpires and present a positive public image of umpiring and the role of the umpire within their DA and throughout Queensland.

The Junior Umpire of the Year Award nominations are open to umpires between 13 and 18 years of age who demonstrate a high level of officiating skill and are a positive role in the sport.

The Umpire of the Year Award nominees must demonstrate a high level of skill in their technical area, be a positive role model, be selected for appointments at State, National or International tournaments and support and service umpire development including the delivery of training, lecturing, mentoring, and program development.
