🏐 WHAT A DAY FOR WILTON NETBALL CLUB! 🩵

What an incredible day of finals netball for WNC!

We had 6 teams take the court yesterday and every single one is still in the finals race!

👏 3 teams are straight through to the GRAND FINAL
👏 3 teams get another opportunity next week

Not one Wilton team was eliminated — an amazing achievement and something our entire club should be incredibly proud of.

We also want to say a huge THANK YOU to the WNC players and families who weren’t playing today but still came out to support our teams. Seeing Wilton colours around the courts and hearing our club cheering from the sidelines means more than you know. That is what club spirit is all about. 🩵

Next week, we’d love to see even more of our Wilton community there!

Our Emus, Waratahs and Koalas will all take the court at 11am, fighting for their place in the Grand Final.

If you’re free, grab your Wilton colours, bring the family and come down to cheer them on. There is going to be some fantastic netball on display!

We are ready for Finals Round 1 this week.

Congratulations to the 6 teams who are ready to take the court this week in our Qualifying and Elimination finals!! We cannot wait to see you hit the court and put all your hard work into action.

We would love to see our Teal, White and Grey army out in force this weekend supporting our teams from the sideline.

Remember a few important rules for finals

🏐 All players must be in full WNC uniform
🏐 Spectators to remain positive on the sideline at all times - cheering and supporting both teams
🏐 Respect our umpires
🏐 HAVE FUN - enjoy this moment of making it to the finals after a long season

While the Winter Season is gearing up for the Finals we are kicking off our Expressions of Interest for Summer Comp 2026.

⏱️ Games are played at 6pm, 7pm or 8pm (determined at a later date, play same time each week)
🏐 Season runs for 8 weeks - 14th Oct - 2nd Dec

❗️Current 2026 WNC Winter Comp players - please see your coach about joining the team - coaches will complete an EOi on behalf of their team (there is no need to complete an EOI individually if you are a current player). Regustration links will be provided by your coach.

To our GIANTS family.

What a journey.

When I first pulled on the GIANTS dress and made my debut in 2021, I knew I was joining something special.

Back then, what I probably didn't understand was just how much this club, and the people within it, would come to mean to me.

For six seasons, I’ve had the privilege of representing the GIANTS. I’ve shared incredible highs, heartbreaking lows, huge moments, tough moments and memories that will stay with me long after my playing days are over.

But the thing I’ll remember most is the people.

You.

The members who have been there by our side year after year. The fans in the stands bringing the noise, kids asking for an autograph after a game and the families wearing orange. The volunteers, the staff, former players – some true legends of the sport - and everyone who has helped build this club over the past decade.

Together, we created the GIANTS story.

A story that will always be part of us.

Today, we begin writing the next chapter.

The GIANTS are becoming the Sydney Sirens.

It’s a new name with new colours, a new story and a new identity.
But this isn't about forgetting where we've come from.

It's about taking everything we've built together over the last 10 years and carrying it forward into something new.

The friendships. The memories. The battles. The pride. The people.

Keeping the family together.

I couldn't be more excited about where we're going next.
There’s something powerful about the Sirens.

They’re bold. They’re fierce. They command attention.
Sirens are impossible to ignore.

That’s exactly the kind of club we want to become.

A club that makes noise. A club that stands for something. A club that represents Sydney with pride and invites everyone to be a part of it.

We’re about community over celebrity and we don't want to build this without you.

We want the people who have been part of our past at the heart of our future.

We want you in the stands. We want you wearing the new colours. We want you making noise with us. We want the next generation of players and fans to grow up knowing what it means to be a Siren.

There will be plenty to reveal and celebrate in the weeks and months ahead, and I genuinely can't wait for you to see what we're building.

Ten years ago, a new netball club began its journey.

Today, that journey doesn't end. It evolves.

🏐 FINALS, HERE WE COME! 🏐

What a season, Wilton 💙

Firstly, a huge thank you to every coach and manager who put their hand up this winter season.

We see you and we appreciate every one of you.

It can often be a thankless job, and people don’t always see the time and sacrifice that goes into being the parent who steps up — at training, on game day and on the sidelines supporting our kids week after week.

And that’s what community sport is all about.

Netball isn’t just about winning on the scoreboard. It’s about improvement, teamwork, commitment, learning lessons, sportsmanship and personal growth.

We are also incredibly proud to have 8 Wilton umpires selected to officiate finals games! 👏

Our umpires are such an important part of our club, and to have eight recognised and trusted to take the court during finals is a fantastic achievement. Congratulations — we are so proud to have you representing Wilton.

Across every Wilton team this season, we have seen exactly that. We are incredibly proud of the growth in our players and the wonderful displays of sportsmanship throughout our WNC community.

What an incredible day seeing our Wilton teams take the court in pink for Pink Round.

Today was about more than netball — it was about coming together as a community to show our support for breast cancer awareness and an important cause that touches so many families.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, wore pink and helped make the day so special. We loved seeing our courts filled with colour, team spirit and support.
