Napoleons Sebastopol Cricket Club is looking for junior players for the 2026/27 season!

We’re especially excited to see the return of our Under 17s side after a few seasons away, and we’re looking for players to help make its comeback a success!

Each of these players has earned their position through their commitment, work ethic and passion for the club. We congratulate them on their appointments and look forward to seeing them lead their sides throughout the season.

🟢🟡1st XI Captain – Dylan Price🟢🟡

Returning for his third season as First XI captain, Dylan has well and truly established himself in the role. After navigating the challenges of his early years as skipper, he has developed into a respected leader within the club.

With several narrow losses last season and an exciting group of emerging young players coming through, Dylan will be looking to build on the team's progress and guide the First XI further up the ladder in 2026/27.

🟢🟡2nd XI Captain – Dylan Sexton🟢🟡

Dylan steps into the role following last year’s finals campaign under the previous captain, who has now transitioned into the coaching position.

A tireless worker, “Sexbomb” is often the first to arrive at training and the last to leave. His commitment, professionalism and attitude both on and off the field have earned him enormous respect throughout the club. We are confident he will bring those same qualities to his captaincy and look forward to seeing him lead the Second XI this season.

Many thanks must go to outgoing skipper Marcus Probert who lead the team to a semi final appearance last season!

🟢🟡3rd XI Captain – Ben Poursanidis🟢🟡

After returning to the club last season, Ben quickly rediscovered his love for cricket and made a significant impact. He captained the Fourth XI and during the latter part of the season showed continued improvement in both his own performances and the team's results.

This season, Ben takes the reins of the Third XI, where the challenge of two-day cricket provides another opportunity to further develop as both a player and a leader within the club.

A big thanks to Matt Shelton for his work as captain last season also.

🟢🟡4th XI Captain – Tristan Knights🟢🟡

After spending many years away from the game, he returned as though he had never left. Alongside Jono Mulhall, he made an immediate positive impact wherever he played, bringing energy, enthusiasm and a competitive spirit to every side.

His determination and commitment were recognised when he was awarded the club's Most Determined award at season's end. We are thrilled to see Tristan step into the role of Fourth XI captain and have no doubt he will provide outstanding leadership and support for our developing players throughout the season.

We wish you all the very best for the 2026/27 season and look forward to seeing each of you lead the Napoleons Sebastopol Cricket Club!

Major Announcement 📣

It’s with great pleasure & excitement that we announce Marcus Probert as Head Coach for the 26/27 season.

Probes brings plenty of experience & a great cricket resume to the table. His passion for the club & the want for the club to be the best it can be stood out to us & it was a no brainer to appoint Probes into this role.

In addition to this, Dan Davies will be staying on in an assistant batting coach role which is great news.

We will announce other assistant coaches over the next few days. So join us on congratulating Marcus on his appointment & let’s all get right behind him & the club & push up the ladders in season 26/27. 💚💛

Full Membership – $500 per player (excludes insurance)

Initial Payment: $275 due upon registration

Final Payment:

$200 if paid on or before 31st October 2026 (includes a $25 discount)

$225 if paid after 31st October 2026

Discounted Membership – $275 (for Under 18s and Full-Time Students)

Women's Cricket - $117.50 plus insurance

Naps are delighted to announce the return of Taylor Campbell for the 2026/27 season! 💚💛

Arriving from England just days before Round 1 last season, Taylor wasted no time settling into life at Naps and quickly became a valued and popular member of our First XI.

Taylor’s quality was on full display throughout the first part of the season, highlighted by his maiden half-century on Australian soil in Round 5. Unfortunately, his campaign was cut short the following week after suffering a dislocated shoulder while fielding.

We’re thrilled to have Taylor back at the club and can’t wait to see him back out on the field for what we hope will be a successful (and injury-free) 2026/27 season! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏏

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Napoleons Sebastopol Cricket Club Incorporated will be held on Sunday 5th July 2026 from 2:00pm at Napoleons.

Anyone connected with the club is welcome to attend.

The AGM will elect members to form the committee for the ensuing year, and nominations may be forwarded to the current VP Sam Peters.

Members may nominate for the Executive roles of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, or for general committee member positions.

Clarification of any of the roles may be obtained from the club.
