Fantastic reminders for our brain and GI tract which is important for all of us...Read on...

This works for me. I find it hard to sleep with the wifi on and sleep deeply when it is off, so yes, I agree.

Here's your daily reminder to turn off the wifi at night when you go to sleep. You don’t need it on while you're sleeping, and turning it off will allow for much better sleep. Remember, this is when the brain detoxes!

Also, move your alarm clock and your cell phone away from your bed. Put them on the other side of the room so you’re forced to get out of bed to shut them off. You won’t hit the snooze button as often, and you’ll be keeping the EMFs away from your head.

Wondering, do you do any of these things already?

Dr. Tom

It worked for me but I am allergic to alcohol so it was an easy decision...all the best and do your best
Yes, I have my book You Can Fix Your Brain beside my desk for an easy reach. Check it out.👀

Alcohol, even fine wines, damages the intestines, leads to intestinal permeability (the leaky gut), and unfavorably alters gut bacteria.

If you are on a leaky gut repair protocol, it is important to completely avoid alcohol while your intestinal lining is healing.

I recommend that you stay off the hard stuff for the first 3 weeks so you can give your body a break. Afterward, you can experiment with some of the gluten-free wines, beers, and distilled liquors. Or, you might realize that you haven’t missed them all that much.

Now, I’m half Italian. And my grandfather would turn over in his grave if I said no to vino. But we all have to realistically evaluate what the triggers are that take us over the edge.

If you add a glass of wine per day back into your routine and you notice your “feeling good” result is reversing because of the sugar in these drinks, you have to reevaluate the importance of that glass of wine.”

Yes, we don't have teeth beyond our mouth so chew well while we have them 😆
Yes, I bought and have extensively used the Dr Libby's Sweet Food Story....

Food enters the mouth and moves down the oesophagus into the stomach. But what do we do to our food before it reaches the stomach? We chew it—or, in some cases, we inhale it! There are no more teeth beyond the mouth: you can’t chew food once it has left your mouth, yet many people eat as though their oesophagus is lined with teeth!

Many of us are in such a hurry with our meals, or we are so excited by the flavour of our food, that we might chew each mouthful four times if we are lucky. It’s a case of chew, chew, chew, chew, mmmmm yum, next forkful in, chew, chew, oh gosh my mouth is so full, better swallow some food … so we swallow some partially chewed food and some not-at-all-chewed food, and we do this day in, day out, year after year.

And somehow we expect our stomach just to cope.

This alone can be the basis of digestive system problems, such as bloating, that appear further along the tract.

The stomach gets to a point where it doesn’t like the rules by which you are playing anymore, so it takes its bat and goes home. So, do your best to slow down and thoroughly chew your food!

It can take an enormous amount of concentration for food inhalers to change their eating behaviours.

Put your fork or spoon down between each mouthful if that will help. Engage in conversation if you are eating with others. Try paying attention when you eat to HOW you eat.

What a question! Fortunately I can say I trust my GP over the past year as she is a holistic/functional medicine based GP.
These days I self-educate my health issues and have her diagnose them officially after checking my research. It has been 100% accurate and I am finally finding my rare diseases that have been keeping me ill for decades.
So yes... and I haven't had the need for hospitalization now...how about you?

What an important question. My response is an absolute YES due to my extensive experience with it. What is your response?

Rather than rushing to answer this question please reflect on it today.

One of the common stumbling blocks to restoring health is a lack of trust in our own bodies.

The truth is that we manifest health by having a secure connection to our own bodies. Not our mind. Our body.

And in this way, we can balance our spirituality, intuition, mental and emotional state, and our physical body needs.

Many things can stand in the way of this.

=>> Our mind has a lot of fantasies that our body does not. We manifest health through learning to listen to our body, not our mind.
=>> Believing someone else has the answers (like a doctor, a test result, dr google or even the spiritual or god)
=>> Trauma (anything we have not processed) as it interferes with our relationship with our body by driving us to extremes
=>> Not having ever been taught our body's language (it's all a foreign language to us).

We manifest health through quieting our mind, listening to our body, learning what it is telling us, and through that learning that we can indeed trust our body.

What a lovely quote. It is so true for me. Hard earned but well worth learning.
