We’re excited to announce our Division 2 Coaches for the 2026–27 season!

Division 2 is a huge part of our club pathway, providing our players with the opportunity to develop, compete and continue to grow within the Mavs program.

We’re thrilled to have a mix of new and returning coaches bringing experience, energy and passion to our Division 2 teams. These coaches play an important role in developing our players and helping shape the future of the club.

We’re building for the future, creating opportunities at every level and continuing to grow the Mavs family.

🏀 TFI MBBA BULLETS × MURRAY BRIDGE NORTH PRIMARY SCHOOL 🏀

For the past three Mondays, some of our TFI Bullets coaches have had the pleasure of heading out to Murray Bridge North Primary School to run basketball training sessions with the students.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Mr Taylor for welcoming us into the school and giving us the opportunity to run these sessions.

A huge shoutout and thank you also goes to Mr Kingdon and Mr Hamence for all of their organisation, support and help in getting this program up and running. We truly appreciate the work that went on behind the scenes to make it happen!

Across the three sessions, we were lucky enough to have roughly half of the school’s students participate. The students did an amazing job — they were eager to learn, gave everything a go and behaved brilliantly. 👏🏀

It was an absolute joy to be welcomed into the school over the three days and to be surrounded by such a fantastic group of students and teachers.

Thank you to everyone at Murray Bridge North Primary School for having us! ❤️

We would love to see some of these students continue their basketball journey and take the next step by joining one of our local basketball clubs!

Looking for a way to keep your child active and developing their basketball skills during the winter break?

MBBA Ford Aussie Hoops is back for Term 3 and open to children aged 5–10 years.

With no winter season running, this is the perfect opportunity to continue building confidence, learning new skills and having fun on the court. We have four fantastic coaches leading the program, allowing participants to be grouped according to skill level to ensure everyone gets the most out of the sessions.

Whether your child is new to basketball or already loves the game, Aussie Hoops is the ideal place to learn, play and improve!

A huge thank you to Scott Butler and Lachlan Warhurst from SA Country Basketball for making the trip to Murray Bridge and delivering an outstanding Player Development Clinic for our U12–U18 athletes.

Your knowledge, energy and passion for developing young basketballers was evident throughout the evening, and our players took away so many valuable skills and insights to help them continue their basketball journey.

We also thank SA Country Basketball for their ongoing commitment to supporting regional associations and creating opportunities for country athletes to learn from experienced coaches.

Court Vision Coaching is proud to partner with the Murray Bridge Basketball Association to deliver a 5-week Basketball Development Program designed specifically for beginner players and those looking to start their basketball journey.

Participants will learn and develop the fundamental skills of basketball, including:
✅ Ball Handling
✅ Passing
✅ Shooting
✅ Footwork
✅ Game Awareness

Each session will build on the previous week, creating a fun, supportive environment where players can learn, improve, and grow in confidence.

🏀 Good luck to our U16 Boys, Hamish & Seth, as they head to Bendigo to represent SA Country Basketball at the Australian Under 16 National Championships.

Joining them on the coaching staff is MBBA Life Member Mitchell Stanbury, who will be serving as an Assistant Coach for the SA Country U16 Boys.

To represent your state at the highest level of junior basketball is an outstanding achievement, and the Murray Bridge Bullets Basketball Association is incredibly proud of all three.
