M-League is back baby!!

The M-League returns after a break for the NRL and we are into the run into the finals!

There are 5 more round games to go before the finals and the grand finals on the stadium in September, and there is all to play for. The excitement just builds and builds.

The fixtures for this weekends games are here. There are some Mouth Watering ties in there.

Will it be another goal fest, or will the defenders turn up this week? Can Blue overturn table topping Orange and really open up the competition?

There will be some changes in the table as the chasing pack jostle for positions and those coveted top 4 positions. Come 3pm on Saturday will the picture be any clearer or will it throw up more questions than answers????

⚽️⚽️ Round 8 Results ⚽️⚽️

It was a goal fest in Round 8.

Orange and Stripes played out a 14 goal thriller. They obviously wanted to copy the England France game at the World Cup. Orange coming out on top 8-6.

Black and Yellow had a 6 goal bonanza. Black ending Yellow’s winning streak 4-2.

Green and Maroon could not be separated as they had a 2-2 draw.

White and Blue also had a close game with Blue squeaking through 2-1.

What a weekend of games! The league table is starting to take shape with all spots to play for as the top 4 will compete for the Championship and the bottom 4 for the Plate.

We have a weekend off next weekend because of the NRL in town. So we can all catch our breath and be ready for the run to the finals.

M-League games for this weekend (25th July) are below and it promises to be another cracking weekend of games.

Yellow looking to keep their winning run going? Can White get a win? Can Stripes stop Orange? Who will win in the Green v Maroon battle?

A reminder that there will be no games next weekend because of the NRL being in Mudgee. So go all out this weekend as you have a rest.

⚫️🟡 Round 7 Results🟡⚫️

What a great set of games on the weekend, 3 of the 4 games decided by a single goal! That is how tight the M-League is.

Orange back to winning ways. Yellow riding a wave as they win back to back games. Stripes squeak through even without their international legend. Green missing their international legend. Blue and Maroon playing a blueprint for the word cup final in a 1-0 battle.

We go again on Saturday (25th July) and there will be a kick around on Thursday night from 6.30 pm for those who want to keep their legs moving.

A reminder that the following weekend (1st August) there are no games due to the NRL match in Mudgee.

⚫️🟡 Round 7 Fixtures 🟡⚫️

M-League is back after the international break and I am sure that all the players are rested up, fired up and rearing to get back on the field.

Here are the fixtures for arguably the most exciting football matches taking place this weekend anywhere in the world.

Will Orange bounce back from their shock defeat to Yellow? Can Yellow and White continue their upward trajectory? Will Stripes and Green be able to cope without their star players? Who will win the 2nd v 3rd titanic battle of Blue v Maroon? So many questions, only time will tell.

🌨️💦 Training Cancelled 2nd July 💦🌨️

Unfortunately the storm last night has meant that the fields are closed, so there will be no training tonight (Thurs 2nd July).

I suggest that you stay dry and warm and watch replays of England's win 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 or Belgium's 🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪 return from the dead.

It is warm and dry in the Woolpack Hotel, just saying.

A reminder that we do not have any matches for the next 2 weekends, so the next games will be on Saturday 18th July.

🟡⚫️ Round 6 Results ⚫️🟡

What a great weekend of games in the M-League, 4 close games to keep the spectators on the edge of their seats.

I asked the question last week "can anyone stop Orange", well the answer is Yellow can!!!

Not many would have predicted that Yellow's first win of the season would be Orange's first loss of the season. The previously freescoring Oranges squeezed out and beaten 1-0.

There was an amazing 4-4 draw between Black and White. Black went from 2-0 up to 4-2 down, and then back to 4-4, a real roller coaster ride.

Green and Blue battled out another thrilling game, with Blue eventually coming out on the right side of a 3-2 scoreline.

In the other game Maroon flew out to a 3-0 lead, but Stripes got it back to 3-2 but they were caught on the break as they pushed for the equaliser and it ended up 4-2 victory for Maroon.

Some great games as we head into the holiday break. Next games are not until the 18th July. We were planning on having training this week but I think that the rain has got us again. But watch this space. We may just have to watch the World Cup in the Woolpack Hotel instead.

💛🖤 Round 6 Fixtures 🖤💛

It is good to be back!!

We are on for Round 6 this weekend (Sat 27th June) and the fixtures are below.

Kick off for all games is 1.45 and we have another bumper weekend for the Wolf Pack as our 3rd and 2nd Grade men are playing at home on the Saturday afternoon too.

That means that there will be another FREE sausage sizzle, so please hang around and provide advice and tips to the 3rds and 2nds on how you would have curled that into the top bins.

The League table is also starting to take shape, with still so much to play for. Can anyone stop Orange (apart from the weather?) We will find out, there is a long way to go.

Lets see what this weeks fixtures throw up. More excitement than an England v Ghana game!!!

⚽️⚽️ Training is ON - Thurs 25 ⚽️⚽️

Although we were not able to get to play on the weekend, the good news is that training is on this week and so are the games.

Meet on Field 4B for a 6pm start.

We will have drills and skills for the first 45 mins. We will then have a couple of games to put into practice the skills learned.

I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible. See you on Thursday and Saturday.

🌧️☹️ Round 5 - Cancelled ☹️🌧️

Unfortunately this weekends M-League has been cancelled, the fields are closed and the weather gods have beaten us this time.

So enjoy a weekend off. For a few of our group it is their birthday weekend, so Happy Birthday to Cooper, Tom, Bishwas and Brett, you can celebrate without being sore.

We will look to have training next Thursday and games next Saturday. So stay safe and dry.

See you in the Woolpack Hotel instead. Apparently it is not raining in there.
