🙌 To make sure we've got enough high fives to go around on race day, we're introducing entry caps across all four events for the first time.
As a volunteer-run festival, we want every runner to enjoy the best possible experience, from the moment you arrive to collect your bib until you leave with a medal around your neck and a smile on your face. By capping each event, we can continue to deliver the friendly, community atmosphere that makes the Mudgee Running Festival so special.
Current spots remaining:
🏃 Marathon: 112
👟 Half Marathon: 263
⚡ 10km: 327
🚶 5km Fun Run/Walk: 330
Entries remain open until 22 August, unless an event sells out first.

🚴🏃♀️ Mudgee Tri Clubbers Spotted Out & About This Weekend! 🏃♂️🚴
Our members have been busy flying the Mudgee Tri Club flag far and wide this weekend!
🌴 Up in Cairns, club legend Lowey is still out there tackling the final leg of Ironman Cairns. We also spotted another familiar face in the crowds — Chris! This time he was spectating, not racing. A rare sight indeed! 👀
☀️ Meanwhile in Darwin, Mudgee was well represented at the NT City to Surf. It was a family affair for Nick & Tracy, who were joined by daughter Mel, her husband Brad and their three little kids😍. Ben and Alex were also spotted amongst the Mudgee crew at the NT City to Surf, appearing to have headed north in search of some warmer weather (and maybe a few barramundi while they were at it! 🎣😆)!
🏃♀️ Closer to home, Mudgee parkrun saw some fantastic runs from Emily, Daniel, Kate, Ania, Aaron, Ollie, Will, Rhiannon and Giselle. Special mention to Giselle, who remains unapologetically committed to spreading the word that early registrations for the Mudgee Running Festival Mudgee Running Festival close on 30 June. Some might call it promotion, we call it dedication! 😂👏
🚴♂️ Sunday wrapped up with Carl organising a gravel ride for the cyclists, making the most of another great winter weekend on two wheels.
Whether racing, running, riding, volunteering or cheering from the sidelines, it’s always great to see our club members getting out there and enjoying themselves. 😍
Keep up the great work everyone and be sure to let us know if you’re up to anything exciting on your fitness journey we love to hear about it!❤️🖤♥️

🌴 IRONMAN CAIRNS – GO LOWEY! 🌴
One of Mudgee Tri Club’s favourite faces, Lowey, has headed north to tackle Ironman Cairns this Sunday!
If you’ve spent any time around the club, you’ll know Lowey is rarely seen without a cheeky grin and a positive attitude. No matter the session, the weather, or how tough the training gets, he always shows up ready to give it a crack.
He’s put in the hard work, training consistently with his coach Nick Kastelein Coaching and quietly building towards race day. His dedication has been outstanding, and we’re excited to see all that effort come together on Sunday.
Lowey’s motto says it all:
“Better to wear out than rust out.”
A special mention must also go to Deb...behind every great athlete is an amazing support crew, and Deb is always there every step of the way❤️
Lowey, the entire Mudgee Tri Club family will be cheering you on from home. Enjoy the day, trust the training, soak up the atmosphere, and most importantly have fun.
We can’t wait to follow your journey and see what you can do out there!
❤️🖤❤️ Good luck, Lowey – you’ve already made us proud.
