The first of two posts today…
I just want to address a recent rumour going around that the shop is closing.
Straight up WE ARE NOT CLOSING DOWN!
It’s no secret across the entire NSW Fi****ms Industry that times are incredibly difficult for Fi****ms Dealers and we have instituted some changes around staff in the shop to prevent the need to close the shop.
Mark is in the shop full time as the manager, I am still in the shop on a part time basis and Paul is in every Saturday. And we still have 2 casual employees Jim and Steve that fill in gaps and assist around peak times.
Ultimately it is you all who are keeping the doors open and we truly appreciate the support of our local community and customers across the board so from all of us, THANK YOU!

Dear Customers,

Just a quick message to thank you for your support and business this year, we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a bright and prosperous new year in 2026!

We are open over the Christmas season every day except for the Public Holidays.

But we’re closed now to celebrate Christmas with our families and we’ll be back on deck on Saturday morning the 27th of December from 09:00 through till 12:00 midday.

P.S. Please ensure that you’ve taken the time to sign the E-Petitions around the new legislation that the NSW government is trying to railroad through.

Dear Customers,

We understand that you are all wanting to know what is happening with the proposed fi****ms legislation changes in parliament at the moment, however we know as much as you do at this stage.

So please don’t bombard the shops phone with questions about what is happening because we simply cannot answer your questions at this stage!

The best thing that you can do is make sure that you have signed the E-Petition and call our email your local state MP’s.

If you take no action the outcome is inevitable.

We have taken over 250 phone calls over the past few days and it’s a big draw on our limited resources.

We will post updates as soon as we know exactly what is happening and not before, because until then it’s misinformation and we won’t be a party to spreading anything that isn’t a fact.
