Firstly thanks to all those families who came along to the Baggy Blues Coaching clinic last Thursday - it was so great to see so many young cricketers enjoying themselves and getting tips from some of the best! Special shout out to Dot Sheehan, Ed George, Oliver and Jilli Lee, Brett Murray and Angus Macdonald and so many more who made it all happen.

Wednesday Training
Training is on this afternoon at Glen Willow at usual time. Ollie will be running it and would love some parent helpers so please shout out if you can lend a hand.

Matches this week:

Property Shop vs. Roths Cherries at Walkers no.1
ED Landscapes vs. DCD Concreting at Walkers no.2

*Rosby Rockets have the bye this week and will play in the Repechage next Saturday against the loser of ED Landscapes and DCD Concreting to be played this Saturday. It would be good to know who from Rosby is available to reserve this weekend.

Final week of cricket:
Confirming the final week of cricket is 18 March where we plan to have all kids involved who are available. We will be arranging a super 8’s tournament or alike for the teams not involved in the final which will be followed by a family sausage sizzle and short awards ceremony.

BAGGY BLUES COACHING CLINIC

A friendly reminder that the Baggy Blues Coaching Clinic is on this afternoon 5:00-6:00pm at Victoria Park. We have had fantastic response to this coaching clinic with 80 children signed up to attend. If you haven’t registered your child and would like to do so, please follow this link:

*Plus, Cricket NSW will be hosting a T20 game after the Coaching Clinic from 6:00pm featuring Thunder, Sixers and NSW stars playing alongside Mudgee’s best.

Apparently we were asked by Cricket NSW to put on a BBQ to accompany the clinic and unfortunately this was lost in translation somehow. The Property Shop have offered to lend us their awesome BBQ trailer to cook some snags for the children – Genevieve has offered to cook so if there are any parents who could lend a hand that would be most appreciated!

It's going to be a hot one this Saturday at cricket so make sure you have sunscreen and water and if any parents have an extra pop up Marque please bring them along. Games for tomorrow:

WEDNESDAY TRAINING

Ed George will be running the Training Session today at Glen Willow Cricket Nets from 5:00-6:00pm.

If there are any additional parent helpers he would love a hand!

Firstly, thank you to the parent helpers and relatives for today's training!

Following on from our last email, it looks like we have plenty of kids willing and able to play this Saturday 17th December which is great and more than we envisaged!

In that case we’ll stick with the original cricket fixture program:

ED Landscapes vs Roths Cherries (Oval 2 - Court St)

DCD Concreting vs Rosby Rockets (Oval 1 - Caravan Park)

At this stage we know Roth's Cherries have a full team.

If other Managers could please let us know who they have playing and we will balance any absentees with players available from The Property Shop who have the bye this week.

Please don’t feel any pressure if you’ve already made alternative arrangements, it looks like we’ll have plenty of players available to generate 2 matches, just be aware that kids should be prepared to switch to make up the balance if asked.

8.30am for a 9.00am start.

MDL U12 - WEDNESDAY TRAINING AND SATURDAY GAME

Hi folks,

Apologies as there have been some mixed messages regarding cricket for this Saturday 17th December.

WEDNESDAY TRAINING
We will have a final training session for the year this Wednesday,13th December at Glen Willow Cricket Nets 5:30pm- 6:30pm.

SATURDAY COMP
There will be no Under 12 games this Saturday contrary to the fixture ladder on PlayHQ.

If your sons or daughters are still keen and available this Saturday 17TH December, then please reply to this email letting us know. If we have the numbers, we will look into making up a couple of teams and putting on a `friendly’ for this Saturday.

Thank you for your support with the MDL U12 Cricket Comp - it takes a village and your help has been invaluable.

We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and look forward to resuming cricket with you all in the New Year!
