Attention families! We will not have competition this week as MacGregor State School have their school fete✨

We are lucky enough to be able to have a stall tomorrow with our incredible team sharing information and skills with the community!

So come on down, we will be there from 10-5pm and if you’re interested you can also register while you’re there! 💪

Meet the President of Sunnybank Little Athletics! 👑

Being President is something she is incredibly proud of. She loves being part of a club that gives children the opportunity to get active, build confidence, make friends and, most importantly, have fun.

What she enjoys most is watching our athletes grow, not just in their skills and abilities, but in their confidence and self-belief. Seeing an athlete achieve something they didn’t think they could, celebrate a personal best or simply finish an event with a huge smile is what makes all the behind-the-scenes work worthwhile 💓.

She also loves the strong community that makes Sunnybank so special. As a volunteer-run club, seeing families come together, support one another and create opportunities for our athletes is incredibly rewarding. As President, she is passionate about helping the club grow, creating new opportunities and making sure every child feels welcome and like they belong 🥰.

For her, Sunnybank Little Athletics is about so much more than athletics. It’s about building a strong community, creating friendships and making positive memories that our athletes and families can carry with them for years to come.

Margaret - Canteen Convenor ⭐️🎉🍰

For 25 years, Margaret has been a much-loved and truly treasured part of Sunnybank Little Athletics, and we think it’s fair to say she is officially a national treasure! 🇦🇺

Week after week, Margaret works her magic in the kitchen, bringing along her delicious homemade treats to keep our athletes, families and volunteers fuelled and happy. And when it comes to Regionals and LAQ Carnivals, Margaret takes it to a whole new level ,because apparently, athletics runs better on love, sugar and a whole lot of Margaret! 🍰❤️

Every treat she makes is made with love, care and generosity, and it has become one of those special things that makes Sunnybank Little Athletics feel like family.

After 25 years of dedication, kindness and countless delicious treats, we simply want to say thank you. You are a huge part of the heart and soul of our club, and we are incredibly lucky to have you. Please take this as our official request for another season! 🤭😂
