Today the Mount Gambier bowls club hosted the winter triples tournament sponsored by South East funerals, your podiatrist and exchange printers.
In third place was Bryan Vorwerk, Glenn Brown and Bill Bremner.
Runners up Tony Bowditch, Greg Carpenter and Nicola Bowditch.
Winners for the day were Dougald McPhail, Mick Ashby and Peter
Gregory. All three teams were four game winners with the winners on 107,second 105 and third 104.

BPL qualifying was held at the Mount Gambier bowls club today. Two teams from Millicent, one team from Robe and Seven teams from Mt Gambier club took to the greens. Format was triples with two sets of five ends with a one end tie break if needed played in two sections of five. The day got off to a ripping start with all four games decided by tiebreakers. At the end of the minor round Bryan Vorwerk, Glenn Brown and Bill Bremner section one
Winners and Tony Bowditch, Jason Kuring and John Reppin winners of section two.
The final was played in cold
Conditions under the roof with the team of Bowditch, Kuring and Repping earning the right to Represent the region in the state finals in Adelaide.

Turn out and some baffling questions made for a great night of fun.
