Such an extra special day today!
Rocco arrived for his unmounted session along with his support worker Tanya who is also a wildlife carer.
Tanya had the cutest little orphaned baby roo in her care & after Rocco’s session we got to meet & have cuddles with little Phoebe who spends most of her time in a cosy pouch.
Tanya has been teaching Rocco how to help take care of the little one & he is quite knowledgeable about Phoebe’s needs. We think it won’t be long before he becomes as confident with horses
as he is with baby kangaroos. 🦘

Exercises on horseback are a great way to improve balance, strength & flexibility.
In the beginning exercises are done at a halt but can progress to being done at a walk.
Coach Robyn conducted Amaya’s session & Asst Coach Sue riding Isaac joined in. Amaya & Sue took turns in leading & following around the course & we finished with Amaya reading & leading the exercises with some coaching from Robyn at the end.
It was a fabulous session although Sue ( me) did find the exercises challenging to say the least 😳…( note to self- take up yoga or tai chai & stop using age as an excuse!😉)

Amaya has a busy brain & likes to multitask.
She is pictured riding Noodles while holding the big, soft ball with which we play catch.
Amaya has a pretty accurate throw but sometimes throws before the other person is ready😬
Noodles is well used to our games & doesn’t react to the ball rolling around in his space🙂
I love Amaya’s vividly painted coloured monkey for our dressage arena letter 'M' (can’t wait to see them assembled & in use. )
