The season might be done, but there’s still plenty happening at the Pirates. 🏴‍☠️ With the footy wrapped up for another year, it’s time to celebrate the season, recognise the people who made it happen and enjoy a few final nights together as a club.

Keep an eye out for our end-of-season events, including the Club Vote Count, as we come together to celebrate the players, coaches, volunteers and everyone who helped make 2026 one to remember.

The footy may be finished, but we’re not done yet.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 season.

The Seniors fell just short against PEGS in a hard-fought finish. Unfortunately, the result looks set to see us setting sail back to Division 1 footy next season.

On a brighter note, the Reserves finished the season in style with a great win! Well done, lads. A fantastic way to finish off the year.

And just like that, another season is done and dusted.
It’s not the finish we wanted, but this season has given us a real eye opener into the level of footy we all want to strive for. There’s plenty to take away, plenty to build on, and plenty of work to do.

We’ll dust ourselves off, get back to work and come back next year hungry for more.

Thanks to everyone who got around the Pirates this season.

The final games of the 2026 season are here!
Our Seniors & Reserves head away to take on PEGS as we close out the season with everything on the line. Meanwhile, our Unders have already wrapped up their season and are now looking forward to the end-of-season celebrations.
One last hit-out. One last push. One last time pulling on the Pirates jumper in 2026.

LET’S FINISH THE JOB. ☠️🏴‍☠️

It all comes down to this. Our Seniors head to PEGS for the final game of the season, with Premier C status on the line. A win gives us the best chance to retain our position and finish the season where we belong.

No tomorrow. No second chances. Just four quarters to leave everything out on the field. 🏴‍☠️

This is what we’ve worked for all year.

THE FINAL TEAMS ARE IN! ☠️🏴‍☠️
Here are your Old Peninsula Seniors and Reserves sides for the final round of the 2026 season. There’s plenty to play for as the Seniors head into a huge game, with Premier C status on the line.

The Reserves will also be looking to finish their season on a high, making it one massive final day of footy for the Pirates.

28/08/2026

That’s right, Pirates… one more to go. ☠️🏴‍☠️
The final game of the 2026 season is almost here, and it’s shaping up to be a Grand Final of sorts for Old Peninsula. A win this weekend could see us retain our place in Premier C for next season, so there is plenty on the line.

One game. One opportunity. One massive day for the Pirates.
Let’s get behind the boys, make some noise and finish the season the right way.

COME ON PIRATES! ☠️🏴‍☠️

27/08/2026

The final game of the 2026 season is here. Our Seniors and Reserves head to Keilor Park to take on PEGS in a huge away clash, with plenty on the line for the Pirates.

The Under 19s have officially wrapped up their 2026 campaign, and we want to thank all the players, coaches, volunteers and supporters for their efforts throughout the season.

Now, all eyes turn to Keilor Park. One last game. Let’s get behind the boys and finish strong!
