Balmoral Sailing Club (BSC) is located at the south eastern end of Balmoral Beach. All images copyright Balmoral Sailing Club.
Sailing is on most Saturdays from the beginning of September until the end of May. Balmoral has a vast grassed area for rigging boats and launching and retrieving is safe and easy straight off the beach.

Rob Owe-Young (centre) receiving his Life Membership from Commodore, Kevin Wadham, and Vice Commodore, Karen Savery.
Rob is someone who often puts his hand up to help when we need a last minute rescue boat drivers and he is on the volunteer roster very often during the season.
He is generous towards the club both financially and time-wise. During his nearly 3 decades as a member, he has had at least two stints on the Board and been a sailor, but mostly a volunteer.
His photographic work is all around us on the walls of the club house. Most members would check out the BSC page the day after sailing on the days he is on a rescue boat to see his latest wonderful photographs.

At today's Annual General Meeting, the following office bearers were elected unopposed:
Commodore: Kevin Wadham
Vice Commodore: Karen Savery
Treasurer: Kylie Symonds
Secretary: Michael Savery
Directors: Fabio Zaccaria Alves, Guillaume Kozinski, Michael Sue, Keith Spencer.
There is one Director's vacancy to be filled. The positions of Rear Commodore and Club Captain remain open.
Robert Owe-Young was elected Life Member.
