From Europe… to America ✨
What a year of opportunities for Aaliyah.
Earlier this year, dance took her to Europe, where she had the incredible opportunity to attend YAGP Dance Lab in Italy — an experience that gave her so much, both as a dancer and as a young person.
Now, another exciting opportunity awaits.
Thank you to Grand Prix Elite Experience for awarding Aaliyah a part scholarship to Cary Ballet Conservatory’s Winter/Summer Intensive in the USA.
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunities that continue to come Aaliyah’s way and, more importantly, proud of the way she embraces each one. Every experience, every teacher and every new environment has contributed to the dancer she is becoming.
From YAGP and Dance Lab in Europe, to YAGP Sydney this week, and now an opportunity to continue her training in America — what an exciting journey.
Thank you to everyone who continues to see potential in Aaliyah and give her opportunities to learn, grow and experience the wider world of dance.
We are so proud of you, Aaliyah, and very excited to see where dance takes you next. 🤍

Day 1 | YAGP 2027 Season – Sydney ✨
What a beautiful way to begin our YAGP week.
We are so proud of Charlotte and her performances today in the Pre-Competitive division. French Fairy Doll was simply stunning, Swanhilda was lovely, and your contemporary was strong and confident.
Charlotte, we are so proud of the way you started the week for us and represented Rogerson College so beautifully.
One of the things we love most about YAGP is the wonderful friendships that are formed and the genuine support dancers show one another. These experiences are about so much more than what happens on stage.
A special thank you to Annabelle, who today was the epitome of a role model and mentor. The encouragement, reassurance and support you gave Charlotte throughout the day did not go unnoticed. We are incredibly proud of the way you support and encourage the younger dancers around you.
A beautiful start to YAGP Sydney, and we are so excited to watch all of our students take to the stage throughout the week. 🩰✨

Is your dancer asking for more? 🤍
There comes a point in every young dancer’s journey when dance becomes more than just an after-school activity.
They begin asking for extra classes.
They stay behind to practise.
They become self-motivated.
They want corrections.
They start dreaming about where dance might take them.
For some dancers, that’s the moment when a full-time training environment can provide the challenge, support and opportunities they need to continue growing.
That doesn’t mean every passionate dancer needs to train full-time—but if your child is beginning to show these signs, it might be the right time to explore what their next step could look like.
At Rogerson College, we believe every dancer’s journey is unique. Whether you’re simply curious or seriously considering full-time training for 2027, we’re always happy to answer questions and help families understand the options available.

✨The stage is only the final chapter of a dancer’s story.
Long before the applause, there are countless quiet moments that shape the artist they are becoming.
The discipline of arriving each day with purpose.
The patience to refine the smallest details.
The trust built between teacher and student.
The resilience to embrace every correction as an opportunity to improve.
It is in these moments—before the music begins and long after the audience has gone home—that technique is developed, artistry is nurtured, and confidence begins to grow.
At Rogerson College, we believe every dancer deserves an environment where they are challenged, supported and inspired to reach their full potential. Our focus is not only on creating exceptional dancers, but on developing resilient, disciplined and confident young people who are prepared for whatever path lies ahead.
