🚨🏐 FINALS ARE HERE β€” RESPECT OUR UMPIRES 🏐🚨

As we head into the SUNA Winter 2026 Finals, we want to take this opportunity to remind everyone, players, coaches, spectators, parents and club officials that respect for our umpires is non-negotiable.

Finals bring extra excitement, pressure and emotion, but that is never an excuse for disrespectful, abusive or intimidating behaviour towards an umpire.

Please remember:

🏐 Umpires are human.
🏐 They make decisions in real time.
🏐 You may not always agree with a decision, and that’s okay.
🏐 Many of our umpires are young and still developing their skills and confidence.
🏐 Every umpire has the right to feel safe and respected while doing their job.

If you see or hear inappropriate behaviour towards an umpire, please don’t simply stand by and ignore it. If it is safe to do so, challenge the behaviour appropriately, or speak with a SUNA official or club representative so it can be addressed.

We all have a responsibility to create an environment where our umpires feel supported, particularly during finals when emotions can run high.

Respect the game.
Respect each other.
RESPECT OUR UMPIRES.

Let’s make our 2026 Finals a positive experience for everyone involved. πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ€ 🏐

THANK YOU, 2026 SUNA REPS! πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ€

What a wonderful Representative season it has been!

To all of our 2026 SUNA Representative players and their families, thank you!🏐

To our players, congratulations on an amazing season. We have loved watching you grow, develop your skills, build confidence and, most importantly, enjoy your netball. Your commitment, effort, determination and team spirit throughout the season has been fantastic.

To our families, thank you for everything you do behind the scenes, the early starts, chauffeuring to training, Carnival-day support, uniforms, encouragement and endless commitment to getting our players where they need to be. Our Representative programme simply wouldn't be possible without you.

A huge thank you also goes to Roz, our coaches, assistant coaches, managers, volunteers and everyone who has supported our Representative programme throughout the season. Your time, knowledge and dedication make such a difference to our young athletes.

We hope our players look back on their 2026 Representative season with plenty of wonderful memories, new friendships, lessons learned and a real sense of pride in what they have achieved.

Whether this was your first season in SUNA Reps or another step along your netball journey, we are incredibly proud of every one of you. 🌟

Thank you for representing SUNA with pride and making the 2026 Representative season such a special one!

We can't wait to see where your netball journey takes you next.🏐
