📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE — SHCV CLASSIC SHOW

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the SHCV Committee has made the difficult decision to defer the upcoming SHCV Classic Show.

This decision has not been made lightly, but the best interests of our exhibitors, horses and everyone involved with the event must come first.

We are pleased to confirm that the SHCV Classic Show has been rescheduled to:

📅 Saturday 31 October & Sunday 1 November 2026
📍 Werribee Equestrian Centre

We understand that a change of date may be disappointing and inconvenient for some competitors, and we sincerely apologise for the disruption.

We remain incredibly excited about delivering the SHCV Classic Show and everything we have planned — our new judging and scoring system, fantastic prizes, new classes and, most importantly, a great weekend of showing.

Further information regarding existing entries, refunds/credits and the rescheduled event will be communicated directly to competitors shortly.

💙 In Loving Memory of Dior 💙

Some horses leave an impact that can never be measured in ribbons or titles alone.

Dior was Ayda Paterson’s heart horse, a remarkable gelding whose partnership with Ayda created memories that will be treasured forever. Together they celebrated many wonderful achievements, including their unforgettable success as Grand National Champion Rider.

This year, the Champion Small Open Hack at the SHCV Classic Show will be sponsored in memory of Dior by the Paterson family.

Thank you to the Paterson family for choosing to honour Dior’s memory by supporting the SHCV Classic Show. We are privileged to celebrate his life and legacy with you.

🏆 Amazing prizes are up for grabs at the SHCV Classic Show! 🐴✨

From garlands, sashes and rosettes, to rugs, hay bags, vouchers, product prize bags, toys and special awards, there’s something to celebrate every achievement.

Remember: You don’t need to be an SHCV member to compete at this show.

📢 SHCV Classic Show Competitors – Nominate Entry Tip 🐴

We've had a few questions about entering classes on Nominate, so here's a helpful tip!

If an adult rider is entering Open or Hunter classes, but a child rider will be riding the same horse in a Child's or other age-restricted class, you will need to:

✅ Click "Add New Class/Horse"
✅ Enter the child rider's name and date of birth

This is required for Nominate to recognise the rider's age and allow entry into the relevant classes.

📝 Need to add or change a class?
No problem! You can edit your entries:
• Through your Nominate Rider Login, or
• If you entered as a guest, by using your booking reference number.

⭐ Please also note: The Novice Rider Championship is judged within the Open Rider classes, so there is no separate Novice Rider class to enter.

If you experience any issues with your entries, please send us a message. We're more than happy to help, and if needed, we can complete a manual entry for you.
