Vale Steven “Potto” Campbell

Mordialloc Cricket Club mourns the passing of Life Member and First XI Turf Premiership player, Steven “Potto” Campbell.

Potto was a key member of the club, opening the bowling for Mordialloc throughout much of the 1980s and early 1990s. A fierce competitor, outstanding fieldsman, and dependable lower-order batsman, he made a significant contribution both on and off the field.

Potto will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour and his ability to bring laughter to those around him. His antics, stories, and larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on teammates and friends alike.

Potto’s funeral service will be held on Friday, 4 September at 10:30am at Gateway, Chelsea Heights. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at Ben Kavanagh Reserve from 12:30pm to celebrate his life and share memories. ❤️🤍

PLAYER SIGNING | Ryder Crawley

The Mordialloc Cricket Club is excited to welcome Ryder Crawley to the Bloodhounds for the 2026/27 season.

A talented all-rounder, Ryder joins us after spending last season with the Sorrento Sharks in the MPCA, while also proudly representing both MPCA and the South East Sharks in the Victorian Country Cricket League (VCCL).

Prior to his time at Sorrento, Ryder played with Moorabbin Cricket Club in the VSDCA and has also represented Casey South Melbourne for two seasons in the Dowling Shield, highlighting his strong cricketing background.

Ryder’s versatility, competitiveness and willingness to take his game to the next level make him a fantastic addition to our playing group.
