📣 IMPORTANT CLUB MEETING – TOMORROW

MJMC will be holding a Club Meeting tomorrow at 2:00pm, immediately following our RPA Day.

We strongly encourage all members to please stay and attend.

There are some important club updates that need to be discussed, along with planning and discussions around the 2027 season and what’s ahead for MJMC.

With plenty happening behind the scenes and some important decisions and conversations to be had, we would really appreciate having as many of our members there as possible.

🏁🔥 DOUBLE HEADER WEEKEND AT MJMC! 🔥🏁

We’ve got a HUGE weekend coming up at Moranbah Junior Motocross Club, two days of bikes, riding, learning and plenty of fun! 🏍️💨

⛺ CAMPING AVAILABLE AT THE TRACK

🎉 SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER - RIDE DAY - 9AM–2PM

Come down for an open Ride Day and get some valuable track time in before our upcoming CHMX Round!

It’s also MJMC racer Dusty’s 8th Birthday celebration 🥳🎂 so we’ll be celebrating trackside, exactly where he’d want to spend his birthday! Yes, there will be cake!

🌭 We’ll also be putting on a FREE sausage sizzle for all of our amazing volunteers who have been giving up their time at working bees and helping us get the track and grounds ready for our CH Round. We seriously appreciate every single one of you! 🧡

We are incredibly lucky to have Beau from NextGen Moto Performance travelling out from Rocky to coach at Moranbah!

There are TWO 3-hour clinics:

🏁 Advanced / Intermediate
Advanced 65cc + 85cc – 450cc
⏰ 10am–1pm
💰 $140

🏁 Beginner
50cc – Beginner 85cc
⏰ 1:30pm–4:30pm
💰 $140

Beau is travelling all the way from Rocky to bring these sessions to our little club, so we need to show that the support is here and make his trip worthwhile. We are soooo grateful that he is willing to come out to Moranbah and give our riders this opportunity, so let’s get behind him! 🙌

And these clinics are NOT just for kids who want to race! If your child is new to riding, still building confidence, or you simply want them to learn how to ride their bike correctly and safely, Beau is incredible at teaching the fundamentals. Safety, technique, bike control and good riding habits are valuable whether they ever line up behind a start gate or just ride for fun. 💪🏍️

🏁 WHAT A SEASON, MJMC JUNIOR RACERS! 🏁

A massive congratulations to all of our MJMC junior racers on a fantastic season of racing! 🏆💙

It has been amazing watching our juniors grow throughout the season . Learning new skills, building confidence, pushing themselves and experiencing all the highs and lows that come with motocross.

We’ve watched them celebrate great rides, tackle challenges, pick themselves back up after tough days and continue to improve every time they get on the bike. We are so proud of every single one of them! 💪🏍️

But… the season isn’t fully over yet! 👀🔥

We still have our Central Highlands rounds coming up, including the chance for our MJMC juniors to line up and race right here on their HOME TRACK in Moranbah! 🏁

There’s something pretty special about getting to race in front of your own club, family, friends and local supporters.

So let’s get behind our MJMC junior racers and see those Moranbah kids show everyone what they’re made of! 💙🔥

🏁 BIG WEEKEND AHEAD AT MJMC! 🏁

We’re getting closer and closer to our first race event back in Moranbah in years, and there is still plenty to get done! 🧡🖤

🔧 WORKING BEE – SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER - FROM 8AM

We’ll be back into it getting the track and grounds ready for our CHMX Round on 24th October. There are plenty of jobs to tackle including track works, moving flag points, grounds preparation, fixing start gates, painting, watering, dump runs, general tidy-up and more!

Any help is greatly appreciated! Even if you can only spare an hour or two, every extra set of hands makes a difference. 💪

🏍️ RIDE DAY – SUNDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER - 8AM–1PM

Then it’s time to get the bikes out! 🙌 Come down for some track time, have a ride and enjoy the day with us.

🏁 RACING IS COMING BACK TO MORANBAH! 🏁

After a few years without racing here in Moranbah, we are SO EXCITED to finally be hosting our first race event back at the Moranbah Junior Motocross Club! 🧡🖤

📅 Saturday 24th October 2026
🏁 CHMX Series Round 2 – Moranbah

There’s still heaps of work to be done around the track and grounds to get everything ready, and we’d absolutely love as many hands on deck as possible over the coming weeks. 💪

If you’ve got a few spare hours, come down to one of our working bees and lend a hand, there are jobs for everyone, big and small. Every bit of help gets us one step closer to bringing racing back to Moranbah!

We cannot wait to see the gates drop, the track full of riders and our club buzzing again. 🏁🔥
