Thanks for a lovely morning, everyone!

☀️ What a beautiful morning at Centennial parkrun! We had 710 lovely people join us today, including visitors from the UK 🇬🇧, Japan 🇯🇵, Bermuda 🇧🇲, (yes, and Brisbane and Melbourne).

🧡 MASSIVE thanks to our volunteers this week! It was a PACKED roster and so much fun to have so many visiting volunteers bringing such great energy! Thanks also to Coogee Run Club for providing today’s pacers!

⭐️ We also had the pleasure of celebrating some big milestones in our core team: 200 runs for RD Sam, 100 volunteers for our RD Emma, and 50 volunteers for one of our long-standing Duke of Edinburgh volunteers, Matthew. There were also 50, 100 and 250 milestones out there today - well done everyone!

🍀 For all those running tomorrow - GOOD LUCK! Take in the sights, enjoy a loop of our beautiful city and get ready for one of the most epic finish lines in the world 🤩

🌏 Tomorrow morning, we expect to welcome lots of visitors from the "lands of the later parkruns", so here is your reminder: we kick our day off bright and early at Centennial - WE START AT 7AM!!

⏰ Pleeeeeeease don't be that person that turns up just before 8am asking when we start - you'll be disappointed and we'll feel bad!

🛻 If you're coming by car, please allow a little more time than usual as parking may be harder, and PLEASE don't drive/stop in the cycle lane.

Centennial parkrun started on 13th October 2018. Since then 30,089 participants have completed 116,258 parkruns covering a total distance of 581,290 km, including 17,597 new Personal Bests. A total of 1,576 individuals have volunteered 7,423 times. Average number of participants across all events: 349, Well done to everyone this morning
