2024 has been another huge year for Moorabbin Boxing Gym!
Well done to everyone for all the hard work put in at training & in competition... we couldn't be more happy & proud of everyone's efforts & achievements throughout the year 👍
Last training session for 2024 will be tomorrow night (Thursday 19th December).
We look forward to seeing you all back at the gym when we return on Monday January 6th 2025 for another big year ahead!

Yesterday at the Peninsula Cup event they presented Leon Pellerito with his Victorian elite male 75 kg championship title medal 👏🥇
Moorabbin Boxing Gym congratulates Leon on his amazing achievements as he now prepares for the Nationals 🥊🥊
Unfortunately, Alex Skahill lost on points on what was a very close fight.

a huge congratulations goes to on another win today at the State Elite Championship event in Bulleen against a very experienced competitor. Awesome job Leon! 🥊🥊🏆 this takes Leon's record to 11-0. We all send our support & wish Leon the best of luck as he makes his way into the Finals for the Victiorian Elite Championship Title as well as qualifying for the Nationals!!

Moorabbin Boxing Gym would like to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the family and friends on the passing of Peter Backman.

Peter hailed from Moorabbin Boxing Gym, training under Harry Martin and was best mates with our coach Steve Kerr. Peter was an Australian heavyweight champion and both his sons Jesse and Bobby fought throughout the 2000’s.

Peter was a man of many talents including being a well respected Tattoo artist.
