Parking at the Dojo
So we don't have the unnecessary situation we had last week.
We need to be mindful of where we park.
We are factory #7 and we share the common car park space of our driveway with #6.
They have no issues with using the spaces available.
If these are full or it's a change over time point of classes. Please park in the street available spaces.
It's a big street and at our times most businesses are closed, so plenty of spaces are available.
BUT under no circumstances should any of our members park in factories #8 & #9 - this is a no go zone.
Any questions please ask Brenda or myself.
Thank you ๐

Great work by the team today ๐
Not everyone medaled - however those students did show improvement, and did have some great matches. Improving is more important, the medals are nice but seeing technical improvement on the mat shows that you are heading in the right direction.
Then it comes down to not making poor technical choices during the matches.
Patience is required.
Hard with kids especially in grey and yellow belt divisions. For instance in white there could be a 3-6 month difference. At grey there could be nearly 3 years difference between a brand new grey white and a 3-4 stripe grey black belt, same in the yellow belt divisions.
Plus the kids not so dedicated have stopped and the kids that are left are serious about what they are doing.
So, students and parents need to be careful in not comparing themselves to others. You will be a different student yourself with another 2-3 years training and those other students will have moved to the next belt colour level.
Again patience is required and consistency in training.
At all belt levels and age groups.
Martin - solid effort and some great matches๐
Matthew - solid effort and starting to come together๐
Scott - Master 3 in adults division No Gi did ok considering was battling a cold. Smartly rested from the Gi division.
Marcus - Gi ๐ฅ Nogi ๐ฅ ๐๐
Matteo - Gi ๐ฅ Nogi ๐ฅ
Mark - Gi ๐ฅ1st comp ๐
Gideon - Gi ๐ฅ Nogi ๐ฅ
Anna - Gi ๐ฅ
Indiana - Nogi ๐ฅ
Great work everyone ๐
Fix mistakes found through competition = Growth.
Be proud of stepping on the mat and testing yourself.
Be patient and most importantly consistent with your training.
Things will fall into place.
Takes time for some, sooner for others .
When things get hard, that's when the magic is about to happen.
Stay focused
