🚨 Wednesday Gate Night POSTPONED 🚨

With a number of our volunteers away at the State Championships this week we’ve made the call to postpone Wednesday night’s Gate Night.

We’ll be back next week as usual!

🏁 HOLIDAY COACHING UPDATE 🏁

A little holiday shuffle is happening with coaching over the next couple of weeks, so check out the graphic for all the changes 👀

We’re also heading into the State Championships in Gladstone next weekend, so a HUGE good luck to everyone hitting the road this week! 🧡🖤🏁

Go fast, stay upright and bring home some good stories! 😂

And because I’m heading away Monday, I’ll do my best to keep up with messages while I’m gone… but here’s the question I get ALL. THE. TIME:

“Is the track open to the public?” 😂

During the holidays, the answer is yes… when we have someone available to unlock it! 🙌

Because we’re relying on our awesome volunteers to get down and open the gates, it won’t necessarily be open at the same time every day. It might be unlocked super early… it might be mid morning… it really just depends on when someone is available.

I’d love to give you all a nice predictable answer, but unfortunately I have not yet been issued a crystal ball by the BMX gods 😂

And then there’s the weather 🌧️

If the track has had a good soaking and it’s wet, muddy or looking suspiciously like a swamp, it’ll stay locked. That’s simply to protect the track surface and keep it in good condition for everyone to enjoy.

So during the holidays, if you’re wondering “is the track open to the public?”… keep an eye on the page for updates and remember it might be a little more flexible than our usual schedule.

Thanks heaps for your patience and understanding while our volunteers are also trying to enjoy their holidays! 🧡🖤

🚲🔥 WEEKEND SORTED! 🔥🚲

BOAB OASIS PARK & PUMP TRACK IS OPENING THIS SATURDAY! 🎉

And Hinterland BMX Club is bringing the BMX action! 🧡🖤

We’ll be hosting BMX sessions throughout the afternoon for Under 10s, 11+ riders plus balance bikes, scooters and skateboards.

But that’s not all… 👀

🎪 JC Action Sports pump track demos & high air shows
🦘 Wildlife Unleashed bringing some amazing Aussie wildlife
🎶 Live music
🌿 Welcome to Country by Undumbi Culture
🚲 And plenty of pump track action!

👀 HINTERLAND IS ON THE 2027 STATE SERIES CALENDAR! 🧡🖤🏁

The 2027 calendar is starting to take shape and we’re pretty excited to see Hinterland BMX Club locked in for QLD State Series Rounds 3 & 4!

🔨 WORKING BEE THIS SUNDAY! 🔨

We’re kicking things off from 8am this Sunday and would love to see as many of our Hinterland family there as possible! 🧡🖤

With the school holidays giving some of our regular volunteers a well deserved break, we’d love to make the most of Sunday to give the track some extra love and get it looking its best for the weeks ahead. 🌿🏁

Our club is only as good as the people who get behind it and we genuinely couldn’t do it without you. Every hour, every helping hand and every little job makes a difference.

There’s something pretty special about seeing everyone pitch in and take pride in the place our kids get to ride every week. 🧡🖤

So come down, have a chat, lend a hand and help us give the track some love!

🛠️ If you’ve got gloves or handy tools, bring them along
☕ And of course… coffee is always encouraged!
