❤️🖤 WHAT AN AFTERNOON, REDS! 🖤❤️

And just like that… our 2026 season has officially been celebrated!

What a wonderful Presentation Day on Sunday, filled with barefoot bowls, plenty of laughs and a whole lot of celebrating everything our club and our players have achieved this year.

There were smiles and cheers all round as our players, umpires, committee members, 5 & 10 year players, graduating players and award recipients were called across the stage and recognised.

A day like this doesn't happen without some pretty wonderful people behind the scenes. A HUGE thank you to everyone who arrived early, stayed late, carried, decorated, organised and simply asked, “What can I do?” it was so appreciated!

Special thanks to our hostess with the mostest, Rebecca, who seamlessly MC'd the afternoon; Tilly for possibly the most AMAZING Reds cake we've ever seen; Rosa and Claire for tackling the mountain of uniforms; Emma for being our photographer and Karsha for another EPIC balloon arch!

And of course, thank you to all our Reds parents and families who came along to celebrate your kids and their 2026 season with us. You are such a huge part of what makes this club what it is.

Now… 2027! 👀

We have SO much we'd love to do next year, but quite simply, we cannot do it without volunteers. Many hands really do make light work, and even taking on one small role can make an enormous difference.

So please join us tomorrow night at our AGM and help us make 2027 even better!

You may have spotted this cheeky rascal making their Reds debut at the Grand Final today… and there's just one little problem…

THEY DON'T HAVE A NAME!

So, Reds family - we need your help!

Drop your best name ideas in the comments below.
Get creative, get the kids involved and give us your funniest, cleverest or most Reds-worthy suggestions!

A few to get the ball rolling… Reggie, Regina, Macca, Rocco, Roary… but we're sure you lot can come up with something better than this!

We'll take our favourites to Presentation Day tomorrow, where we'll have a good old-fashioned show of hands and crown the winning name!

And who knows… this cheeky tiger may just make another appearance tomorrow afternoon! 👀

What a fabulous night celebrating our SCNA netball community!

A HUGE congratulations to our incredible Lin Corbett nominees, Kayla Meyer (Div 5) and Amayah Moeroa (Div 17), who were both named RUNNERS-UP in their divisions!

To be recognised as one of the top TWO players across your entire division is an exceptional achievement. We are incredibly proud of you both!

Congratulations also to Buderim Firebirds Netball Club Inc - Club of the Year! A very well-deserved win. We've loved playing against and training alongside some of your teams this year and particularly loved hearing from one of your Div 4 players how much she enjoyed playing the Reds because our girls were always so kind. That's what community sport is all about.

A huge thank you to Lin Corbett and Sunshine Coast Netball for making this evening possible.

And SCNA, thank you for honouring our beautiful Zara so incredibly. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Thank you also to Jo Pitcher for your heartfelt words and beautiful memories , it really was such a special tribute to a very special girl.

Our Division 5 Raiders take on Saints this Saturday at 7:30am, and we want that sideline absolutely PACKED with RED!

These girls have worked, grown and fought their way to the big dance. now it’s our turn to show up for them!

FROM THREE, TO TWO… DOWN TO ONE!

What a day of Preliminary Finals for our Reds!

Our Raiders came out firing in their Division 5 clash against a very classy Mountain Creek side, putting together a dominant performance and earning themselves a ticket to THE BIG DANCE!

GRAND FINAL BOUND! ❤️🖤

Then it was our little Rockets in Division 22, who unfortunately couldn't quite get there against NCC yesterday, but WOW, what a season these kids have had!

To make it all the way to a Preliminary Final in their first divisional season is something to be incredibly proud of. Congratulations Rockets on a fantastic season and for representing the Reds with such heart! 🚀❤️

And just like that… two becomes ONE.

Our Raiders are our last Reds standing, and next Saturday they're playing for the big one!
