A great day on the water for our Mooloolaba Yacht Club and Saltwater Veterans Keelboat Instructors, up‑skilling with Australian Sailing - Queensland Senior Instructor Di Kelsey at MYC.

A day of learning, connecting and supporting the people who bring our programs to life.

The team are already looking forward to getting together again for a Discover Sailing Day, an instructor led sail experience for our community. 👍

We’re delighted to welcome Australian Sailing Senior Instructor Di Kelsey to Mooloolaba Yacht Club today for a Keelboat Instructor Up‑Skilling Day.

This fun, hands‑on session is designed to lift confidence, refresh skills, and bring out the very best in our instructors. Tailored to each club’s team, it’s a chance to focus on professional growth, thoughtful reflection, and future planning.

It’s also wonderful to be sharing the day with instructors from the Saltwater Veterans Project. Their support and collaboration add strength and value to our community.

SEPTEMBER | WOMEN’S SAILING MEET‑UP ⛵
Sunday 13th | 12:30 pm – 4.00 pm
Mooloolaba Yacht Club

Whether you’re a local sailor or a sailor visiting the Sunshine Coast, join us for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and sailing fun. Come say hi, enjoy an Elliott 6 social sail, and bring a small plate to share with a cold drink afterwards.

Elliott 6 / RIB hire fees ($50 per boat) will be split evenly among those attending.

Sailing experience required.

We will be doing a RHIB transfer from Labalasa Park to help with parking as the Sunshine Coast Iron Man is on the same date.
