New publication ✨ AllPlay Dance: Enabling Access and Inclusion through Professional Development for Dance Teachers.
We’ve loved training teachers across Australia to support more accessible and inclusive community dance for children with disability. Our new article shares learnings from three AllPlay Dance programs and explores how supporting teachers can help rethink what dance can be.

We’re looking for experienced dancers to become Buddies in a Deakin research project exploring the power of community dance for children with Autism. 💫
Buddies will partner with a child in weekly creative dance classes in Terms 3 & 4, 2026 (Tuesdays after school, Deakin University Burwood Campus), with training and support from experienced dance and psychology researchers.
Help children access dance, grow your teaching and collaboration skills, and be part of a meaningful research project.

Are you a parent of an Autistic child who loves to dance?
Our most recent AllPlay Dance program brought so much joy to the families who took part. Parents shared how much their children loved attending, describing them as relaxed, engaged, and excited each week.
We’re now inviting families to join our next group.
We’re offering a free, term-long dance program (Tuesdays after school, 2026) for Autistic children aged 7–12. Be part of this exciting research and help us learn how dance can support Autistic children and their families.
