🥩🍷 Steak & Wine Night | What a Night! 🍷🥩

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s sold-out Steak & Wine Tasting Night!

Guests enjoyed a feast of pulled beef sliders, oyster shooters, chicken spiedini and eye fillet, paired with a fantastic selection of wines. 👌

A big thank you must go to Vintage House Wines and Pierre's Free Range Meats for helping make the night such a success and providing such high-quality produce.

Shout out also to Daryl Fraser and his countless number of helpers for making the night what it was.

Safe to say, we’ll be doing this one again!

🏆 Marlie named Player of the Series! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Mitcham young gun Marlie Malcolm, who has been named Victoria’s Girls Player of the Series following the recent Tri-Series against NSW and Queensland! 👏

Another fantastic achievement for Marlie, who continues to make her mark at the highest level of junior bowls.

We’re incredibly proud to see Mitcham represented on the state stage and can’t wait to see what comes next.

Over 30 Mitcham Bowling Club members got together at Dandenong Club this weekend for a social roll, with plenty of bowls, laughs and good times.

It’s a great reminder of what our club is all about. You don't need to be an experienced bowler, just come down, have a go and meet some great people.

🥉 Bronze for Marlie at the Junior Golden Nugget! 🥉

Marlie Malcolm's fantastic run at the 2026 Junior Golden Nugget came to an end today, but not before another set of impressive performances.

After a convincing Quarter Final win, Marlie was unlucky to fall in a well fought Semi Final before bouncing back to claim 3rd place in the bronze playoff. 🥉

The Junior Golden Nugget has long been a proving ground for many of Australia's current state and national representatives, making this an outstanding achievement and another exciting step in Marlie's bowls journey.

Congratulations, Marlie! We can't wait to see what the future holds.

A huge congratulations to Marlie Malcolm, who has played some outstanding bowls today to qualify for the Quarter Finals of the 2026 Junior Golden Nugget at Tweed Heads.

Marlie topped her section with a perfect 3 wins from 3, including a terrific victory over last year's runner-up 👏💪

She now progresses to the Last 8 tomorrow, where she'll be looking to continue her fantastic run in one of Australia's premier junior bowls events.

Another achievement for our very own Marlie Malcolm as she has been once again selected to represent Victoria in the upcoming Under 18 Tri Series against NSW & QLD.

U18 Tri-Series Side Announced New names joining some already experienced juniors to take on NSW & QLD in upcoming Tri-Series at Cabramatta in August.

🎉 2025/26 Presentation Night 🎉

A couple of weeks ago we officially wrapped up the 2025/26 season with our annual Presentation Night, and what a fantastic evening it was!

With more than 80 members, family, friends and sponsors in attendance, it was a great opportunity to celebrate another memorable season, recognise some outstanding achievements and enjoy some great food and company.

Congratulations to all of our award winners and thank you to everyone who helped make the night such a success. Our club is built on the efforts of so many people, both on and off the greens, and nights like these are a wonderful reminder of what makes Mitcham Bowls Club so special.

Here's to an even bigger and better 2026/27 season!

On Friday night, our President, Scott and Committee Member, Ally visited our good friends to accept their generous $660 donation. This donation was from their Mitcham Lager Fundraising Program of which DSCMK was their nominated community group! We love our local community and are so grateful to Mitcham Bowls Club for their ongoing partnership and support!
