Today we played a 4BBB Stroke Select, Sponsored by the Miriam Vale Golf Club. We had a good field of 9 teams and some exceptional scores produced.

The Miriam Vale Mixed Open was held on Saturday, 12 September. Our sponsors for the day were Andersons Auto City, Gladstone and we thank the Anderson Family for its continued support for this important event on our golfing calendar.

⛳️ Nicky's Versus Par - results ⛳️

On Wednesday, 9 September we had a good field of 13 Ladies contesting a Versus Par. Our Sponsor for the day was Nicky who donated trophies for the Winner and for the pinshots - thank you for your support Nicky .
Our very popular Winner was Joyce with a magic +4 from Kaye with +1. In third place was Lois on a countback from Jan – both all square.
The Division 1 pinshot was won by Allison R. with 87cms and the Division 2 pinshot was won by Jane “In The Hole” Solis – in the hole.
Congratulations Ladies.

Next Wednesday is our Hart Ball event sponsored by Kate. The Hart Ball is played in teams of 3 – so far we have 5 teams nominated and Pam F. is looking for a couple of ladies to join her team. Tee off is 9:00am and cost will be $25.00.

Also a reminder that the Golf Central Queensland Opens for Men and Ladies is coming up on Saturday, 19 and Sunday, 20 September at Emu Park and Yeppoon. In previous years players had to qualify to be eligible to play in this event, but in 2026 GCQ has made the change to entry via nomination.

Good golfing to all of our Lady and Gentlemen Members playing in the Mixed Open on Saturday. We have 36 players nominated in the Mixed Open and there will be a 2 Person Ambrose for the Overflow. Shotgun start at 10:30am and cost will be $30.00 which includes a sandwich for lunch.
