π GRAND FINALS DAY 2026 π
Congratulations to all teams who will be competing in the Grand Finals this Saturday!
The following game management procedures have been introduced to help our games run as smoothly as possible and ensure our players, umpires and officials can focus on the game.
π SCOREBOARDS
Umpires will bring scoreboards to the courts, and the winning team will return the scoreboard to the Registrars window.
Teams are still responsible for ensuring all scoreboard information is completed correctly, including player sign-ons and scores.
βοΈ PLAYER SIGN-ON
All players must sign the scoreboard in full. No ticks or initials.
The scoreboard is the official record checked by our competition committee.
Incorrect sign-ons may result in the Ineligible Player rule and penalties.
π SCORERS
Both scorers must be seated together with the reserve umpire in the allocated space on the sideline.
They must both also sign the scoreboard in the correct section.
If the game is drawn at full time and extra time is to be played - scoring continues as per normal.
π UMPIRES
CDNAβs umpire committee will be allocating 3 umpires per game to allow for a reserve umpire. They will be seated with the scorers for each game.
This umpire will also act as the runner to alert for any drawn games on the day.
π° DRAWN GAMES
If a game is drawn at full time:
1οΈβ£ The reserve umpire will alert the Competition Committee.
2οΈβ£ Two 5-minute halves will be played, with teams changing ends after 5 minutes without an interval.
3οΈβ£ No substitutions or positional changes are permitted before extra time begins. Rolling substitutions can be used once extra time starts.
4οΈβ£ Normal stoppage procedures apply during extra time.
5οΈβ£ If still drawn after the second 5-minute half of extra time, teams are to swap ends and reset to a centre pass and play continues until one team is two goals up.
π¨βπ©βπ§ SPECTATORS
Please remain in the designated spectator areas.
π« No spectators are permitted on the baselines and anyone in these areas will be asked to move.
Please do not walk through play or get in the way of our umpires.
ππ₯ PRESENTATIONS
There will be a presentation after each timeslot for all games played. These will be held at the complex. (please be mindful of games being played on the courts after you and not to interfere with these)
Letβs all do the right thing!!
π€ Good luck π
β€οΈ Enjoy the games
π€ Respect the umpires
β€οΈ Respect the coaches decisions
π€ Cheer loud and proud
