Success in Sydney for some South Aussies π΄π΅π‘
A number of South Australians tackled the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS yesterday, and there were a couple of highly notable performances.
Michael Roeger came home in 2:18.36, knocking 17 seconds off his PB and setting a new World and National Record for the T46 Marathon.
Caitlin Scott placed third in the Australian Marathon Championships Women's race, clocking 2:31.11 in a hard-fought race against some of the best in the world.
Massive congratulations as well to all the other South Australians who took on Sydney. Hope you're all holding up well and enjoyed the experience!

More South Aussie success at World U20s β
Charlotte McAuliffe added another medal to her collection, with the Women's 4x400m relay team running 3:31.39 to claim Silver.
Unfortunately, the mixed 4x100m team DNF'd in the final after a blistering qualifier. Kelechi Ekwomadu also ran in the Men's 4x100m, whose qualifying time of 39.73 wasn't quite enough to see them through to the final.
A fantastic showing from our up and coming South Australian athletes. Plenty of great memories and performances to be proud of!

How good was that?!? π€―
This morning, Kelechi Ekwomadu was part of the Australian mixed 4x100m relay team that absolutely annihilated the competition in their heat, storming to 41.64 to set the inaugural World U20 Record.
The record was soon after lowered by Great Britain, who will come up against the Aussies in the final on Day Four.
Congrats on the run, Kelechi. We look forward to seeing what more you can achieve during the rest of these Championships!
