This time next week, I’ll be on a plane to Perth, heading over to the Great Southern Kart Club to compete in the WA State Title!

I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while now, and I can’t wait to get over there, hit the track and see what the N2 Rocket can do.

It’s going to be a big weekend of racing, and I’m excited to put in the work, learn as much as I can and give it everything out on track.

A massive thank you to everyone who has helped get me to this point, especially Toby and Mum, AAT Building Group, Broadlands Earthworks, Pull Bang Enterprises, EightyOne Racewear Couldn’t do it without the support!

Brodie Somerfield is ready to rip in the NexGen Sprintcar Series! 🏁

Brodie is one of 10+ drivers already putting their hand up with an expression of interest for the upcoming season, and he’s ready to be part of the Nex-Generation!

Brodie began his racing journey in dirt karts, before making the big move into an LS Sprintcar last season and kicking off his speedway career.

Fast forward 12 months, and Brodie is ready to take the next step — he wants to be a part of NexGen.

The future of South Australian sprintcar racing is taking shape, and Brodie is coming along for the ride.

What a weekend at the Alice Springs Kart Club for the Northern Territory Titles! 🏁

The format consisted of six heats with your worst result dropped, meaning consistency was the key all weekend. We had some awesome racing across both classes and were happy to come away with some great results.

**125 Heavy** 🟥N2🟥

Heat 1 - 3rd to 2nd
Heat 2 - 10th to 7th
Heat 3 - 6th to 2nd
Heat 4 - 4th to 2nd
Heat 5 - 9th to 7th
Heat 6 - 1st to 1st
**OVERALL - 🥈 2nd**

**KT Heavy**

Heat 1 - 15th to 2nd
Heat 2 - 5th to 5th
Heat 3 - 6th to 4th
Heat 4 - 10th to 10th
Heat 5 - 14th to 9th
Heat 6 - Did not race to focus on 125 Heavy
**OVERALL - 10th**
