Thinking of our friend Tate, his family and the whole Lay It On crew after his accident yesterday. He’s in good hands and praying for a speedy recovery.
Being on the water with him, watching the rescue crews and people on the ramp help him in extremely difficult circumstances, shows the community boat racing has.

Heat of the Albert Corn 6ltr Australian Championship, came out of pole 3 and fought hard to get around Rootas for 2nd. Boats going great. Cav issues sorted and a happy crew.

Race 2. Starting from pole 3 again. With Lock N Load Racing in pole 2, Cut cat racing in pole 1 and Impulse on our outside in pole 4. Managed to finish 2nd behind Lock N Load who is absolutely flying.
Race 1 on Saturday of the 6litre National Drivers Championship. Starting out of pole 3, with some of the best 6 litre boats in the country. Was running 3rd until Rootas missed a turn buoy which put us into 2nd place which is where we ended up.

Team Rarity on boat holding duties this weekend while “The Big Man” takes the wheel.
Day 2, Saturday morning start up before we head out for a practice run to check all issues are resolved from some cav plate issues we discovered in the hot laps yesterday. 🤞 it’s sorted
Day1 wrap at Dargle for Rnd2 of the Kavanagh Auto Parts NDC.
Today threw us a few curveballs but we managed to keep the little blue rocket trucking along. Some electrical issues and hydraulic cav issues. We’ve not long finished putting the boat back together and fingers crossed it’s all happy.
We think we’re an ‘unofficial’ 3rd in quali, which will put us in a decent heat draw tomorrow.

The boats all together and we’ve ran it up on the trailer. Did a few checks and we’re happy to take it to Dargle for the next round of the NDC.
