Mernda Central College has given us a home for many years and we expect our community to respect the courts on which we play and the school grounds in where we are located.

Northern Pride Netball Association are asking for families to
1. Supervise their children
2. Stay within the court areas and not wander through the school grounds
3. to not touch school lockers or any other property that does not belong to you
4. to pick up your rubbish and dispose of it correctly. This includes coffee cups, drink bottles, food wrappers etc. PUT IT IN THE BIN
5. No smoking or va**ng on school grounds.
6. No dogs on school grounds (unless they are a registered guide dog, assistance dog or approved therapy/wellbeing dog).
In addition;
We also request that you leave the toilets in a clean and respectable manner and DO NOT PARK ON ANY GRASS.

Northern Pride Netball Association is building a high-performance culture and we're looking for passionate, dedicated and leadership-driven coaches to join our representative program.

This is your opportunity to become an integral part of the dynamic coaching team at Northern Pride Netball Association.

Our representative Coaches are

Your responsibilities will be required to plan and execute engaging training sessions, to mentor and support athletes fostering growth and development and maintain open communication with athletes regarding development.

You will not be alone. Our coaches are part of a team where support for each other is vital to the success of the program. There is also a dedicated committee put in place to handle administrative tasks, which allows our coaches to focus on their coaching commitment.

We are seeking coaches that have a positive attitude and a desire to share their netball knowledge and expertise. We are looking for coaches that value inclusivity and teamwork and that will embrace our association values of

Pride - Respect - Integrity - Determination - Energy

Our Representative program consists of 11&U, 13&U, 15&U, 17&U and Open squads.

11&U are tournament-based squads playing in approximately 7 - 8 tournaments for the year.

13&U are tournament-based squads playing in approximately 6 - 8 tournaments for the year including participation in the Netball Vic Association Championships. There is also an option to enter into the Parkville competition (TBC)

15&U and 17&U play two seasons in the Parkville netball competition along with playing in 4 – 5 tournaments during the program including participation in the Netball Vic Association Championships.

Open’s play two seasons in the Parkville netball competition along with the possibility of playing 1 – 2 tournaments including participation in the Netball Vic Association Championships.

Nominations are now OPEN for the 2026 Ian Landy PRIDE Award

The Ian Landy Pride Award recognises an outstanding individual who consistently embodies the Northern Pride values of Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Energy.

This award may be presented to any member of the Association or its affiliated clubs — including players, coaches, officials, parents, volunteers, supporters or committee members.

Nominations are open to the entire Association community. All submissions will be reviewed by the NPNA Committee, with the recipient selected based on the strength of nominations received. Nominators are encouraged to provide detailed supporting information.

Selection Criteria (includes but is not limited to)

The ideal recipient will demonstrate most or all of the following:

* Makes a consistent, meaningful and positive contribution to the Association and its members.
* Works selflessly and without expectation of recognition, often in behind-the-scenes or unsung roles.
* Upholds and actively demonstrates NPNA’s PRIDE values - Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Energy, across all areas of involvement, whether in:
- Representative Program
- Saturday domestic competition
- Club administration or committee work
- Game day support (eg team manager, scoring, canteen, fundraising, logistics)
- Any voluntary or leadership role within the NPNA community
* Shows long-term commitment while respectfully balancing other personal, family or professional responsibilities.
* Acts as a positive role model, consistently setting the standard for behaviour, culture and community spirit.
* Displays loyalty and support for the ongoing growth, reputation and success of Northern Pride Netball Association.
