A quick reminder before our Friday night competitions begin!

Our Pizzey Park athletics facility is BIG, with lots of track and field events happening across the venue at the same time.

Take a moment to check out the map and familiarise yourself with where each event is located. 👀

⚠️ Please take extra care when moving around the facility, particularly when crossing or walking near:
Discus and javelin throwing areas
Shot put sectors
Long & triple jump runways
High jump areas
The circular track and sprint straights

Always follow the directions of officials and Age Managers, and never enter a throwing sector or cross a runway while an event is in progress.

Knowing where you're going will help keep everyone safe and make moving between events much easier.

⚠️ Uniform Shop & Clubhouse
Closed on Friday afternoons, due to all groups starting early. You will NOT be able to collect on Friday's.

If you ordered your uniforms by the cut-off, you can collect them this weekend from the clubhouse.

A quick update about Little Athletics competition bibs for the new season.

🔄 Returning athletes from ANY LAQ club
- You will keep the same athlete number from last season.
- However, you will receive an updated GREEN bib in the post, which must be used once it arrives.
- Until then, please continue competing with your old BLUE bib.
- Bibs can take up to 15 business days to arrive after registration.
- If your new bib has not arrived within this timeframe, please contact [email protected].

🆕 New athletes
Your competition bib will also be sent directly to you in the post.
Please allow up to 15 business days for delivery.

📌 Wearing your bib
Your athlete bib must be pinned or sewn onto the FRONT of your competition uniform. This includes your:
- Polo shirt
- Singlet
- Crop top

🟦 BLUE = old bib – use until your new one arrives
🟩 GREEN = new bib – use once received

Please make sure your bib is securely attached and clearly visible when competing.

Registrations for the 2026/27 Gold Coast Athletics season are officially NOW OPEN for Little Athletics and Tiny Tots! 🎉

All registrations are completed online through Sports80:

🔄 RETURNING ATHLETES
Log in to your existing Sports80 account.
Find the ‘Centre Membership’ tab.
Select Gold Coast Athletics — your previous membership may show as Invalid or Lapsed.
Press Renew and follow the prompts to complete your registration.

NEW ATHLETES
Follow the same link. Please ensue when setting your account up, it is done as the parent. You will then add your children after the parent account is set up.

• First child — $255
• Additional children — $250 each
• Equipment Levy — $20 per family
Tiny Tots
